İmage degradation occurs when the number of stack is increased (For the freezer).
That's why I kept the number of stocks high. However, the reason why I haven't made an update about the latest items added to the game is that I haven't played the game for a long time.
I haven't been able to get an update since the DLC was added to the game. I will make the necessary updates when I get back to the game soon.:steammocking:

But the trade off still seems very mild. Wouldn't it better to keep limited item selection and increase size or allow all items than regular Freezer has.

Doesn't regular freezer has a stack size of 20? I don't see how the Deep Freezer is better, it doesn't even store all the stuff that regular freezer stores.

I'm not sure it even can be done for this game with LUA. The author of the Cargo Mech mod is one of the game's developers and in order to get larger stacks of construction resources to be possible in the cargo mech he changed the global stack sizes for them.

One would assume if he could just have changed the stack size specifically just in the mech storage, that's what he'd have done.

No way... Mate. With all my respect, this is unacceptable. I understand what you say, however, your suggestion is not so good, if I set the feeder storage slot to 1, either way you can put to that slot 1000 quantity which is not so good.
As an experiment, I modified the 'hay' item quantity to 100 in your mod. It worked, but of course this change the quantity in another storage space with hay too.
Is there a way to separate the slot quantity in different storage types?
Maybe some LUA code helps in this way;
------ if animal feeder get handled then set all its item quantity to '100' -------
Or something like that... I can't believe this is not doable...

@Pex_-HUN-_ I'm sorry to say that I can't provide support on this issue. Due to the rules of the game, I can't make changes to storage space. I can make changes to food storage quantities, but this affects other storage spaces as well.

But in the settings of the animal feeder you can reduce the number of stocks to 1 or select the ones you don't want to put there.

@Hasyun, Mate, did you alter the animal feeder? It's insane that one slot can take 1000 item. Nooooo... this is a big nooo. IMHO for animal feeder should keep the original setting.

@OMG10, if I am remembering correctly Buttermelons are called "Pumpkins" for their internal ID. You probably just aren't looking for them by the right name.

Silicon, Energy Crystals, and fuel are back to normal degradation. Looks like you just removed the degrade bar from Silicone and Energy Crystals because they have them in Vanilla, but not with your mod. A fix is a fix, though.

@Milan, I tested the manure as well. It did degrade pretty fast before but now it degrades the same as Vanilla. It is still pretty quick, though, but that is how the devs coded it I guess.

As for the animals, well, I typically only tame herbivores and feed them hay. I filled their dishes with everything else and they eat it just fine. The only food they will not eat is the hay... just completely ignore it.

Appreciate the quick fixes, though!

In the mod I created, only the manure storage is not attached to the existing manure itself. So the problem you're having is not related to my mod :/ A substance that deteriorates in manure vanilla game within 2 days.

@Madd Llama Same thing happened to me too.. But it also happened with Manure. First i thought it was related to the Project X mod. So quickly building that shelter always gives a temporary solution for now. But not without losing a bunch before you can build it.

@Hasyun I appreciate the quick response.

There is a new problem, though. With only this mod enabled, FUEL, SILICON, and ENERGY CRYSTALS deteriorate rapidly when unroofed. I started a new Merchant scenario and noticed that within 2-4 game hours at max speed, all 500 bottles of my fuel had rotted away. Silicon and crystals did the same.

I turned your mod off and just ran vanilla and the silicon and energy crystals only went to 96% in the same amount of time while being unroofed.

Figured I would bring it to your attention. Thanks.

@Madd Llama I have corrected a few things that may have caused the error. However, even before the correction, the animals could be fed while the mod was active. If you wish, you can unsubscribe from the mod subscription and subscribe again. This process can make it better.

This mod is preventing my animals from eating out of their food trays. I looked into the forums and a couple other people have reported it, but not sure if they have here. I only use a few mods, so when I disabled this one it fixed the issue.

This is a rather magnificent mod, do you think anything can be done?

Thanks for the tip, tho I'm definitely not a newbie a modding. Got a 1500+ mod list in rimworld (I know it's excessive but lord help me).

It's definitely the fact that I didn't have the freezer researched, will update once that's done.

Should be included in mod description.

@pickpickpickpickpickpickpickpick There are necessary conditions for you to investigate the deep freezer. You need to research the freezer, find or investigate electronics,cpu,metal, etc.

If you are having an issue with the AI not eating due to this mod it's because you need to force this mod to update by unsubscribing then resubscribing to this mod. Hope this helps.

There were some other resource specific changes as well, including some new resource groups, changes to the decay for beverages and a few other items, and changes to how unfinished items are handled.

With all of those changes, there were also changes to storage types in terms of what groups/categories can be stored in them. Of special note is refrigerators and freezers, which now can store more than just food items.

That tag has to be added for all consumable items. Food, Drink and medicine.

It's under the consumption section for the resource.

Just to clarify what the update changes, because of the addition of androids, food now has a tag that indicates what "type" of creature eats it. All of the food changed by this mod (which is pretty much all food) is missing that tag, which means no one can eat it.

This mod still uses overrides for all of the resources to make the changes, rather than just a LUA script. What that means is that when the game gets updates that change those resources, this mod won't be fully compatible with the game update until it too gets updated.
