The mod has been retested by me and it works. Possible reasons why it might not work for you:
1) The mod only works in a single player game and in a local server if the host has this mod. The mod cannot work on official servers.
2) Make sure that the mod actually loaded after starting the game. Go to the "addons" section and find the "Silent Survivors" mod in the list. Perhaps the game is not synced with Steam or you was launching the map very quickly after loading the game.
3) Make sure that this mod does not have conflicts with other installed ones (conflicting mods will be have in red text). If this is true, another mod is preventing this from working.
4) Some custom campaigns have their own scripted lines. Alas the mod cannot disable this. Check it out by running one of the 14 original campaigns.
5) If all of the above does not help: very rarely the game engine becomes stupid and does not accept any third-party content. Try restarting your PC, Steam and launching the game again.

Given the difficulty you raise, it seems that the only solution is to replace the unwanted audio tracks with an empty clip. Is that possibly the only solution?

The main difficulty in creating separate works to disable only certain parts of sound scripts is that new add-ons usually use a common script file for any new or changed old sounds, and to understand which sound will be disabled you need to listen to audio files from the links and there are several thousand of them in the game

Alas, a thorough analysis of the depths of the workshop did not help me find any other mod to disable sound scripts (in whole or in part). The closest thing I've ever found were scripts for replacing the voices of some survivors with others (usually males with females or vice versa). But even these mods were made before the release of additions and updates to the game and therefore did not always work

Very good, I love your mod. The problem is that the audio of the missions cannot be heard in the campaigns. Do you know if there is a mod that only silences the automated voices, and "reloaded" type responses, but leaves the essential voices and those from radios and missions. Thanks for your answer.

I can help you out looking for those survivor names if you wanted a assistance.

The idea is good, I myself have long wanted to create a mod that would remove only the mention of the names of the characters (for those who changed their names / models), as well as the reaction to friendly fire and screams about reloading. but there is much more work to be done, every line of dialogue needs to be checked (for every survivor there are 3000+ of them). This mod was created using a text editor, removing all lines of dialogue for the matching word and then correcting small errors manually

Maybe make another version that mute only mentioning their name
