Please deter yourself from making demands and rude comments when you haven't put the time, effort and passion to build the creations that you receive for free. Be more self aware for others and show the same respect you deserve and need

dlc is cosmetic only, not using the ship due to the use of dlc and making comments with demands to change it when its free content and you didn't take the time and effort to make, is beyond petty. I tried scenarios when i fist played and ended up experiencing the "paid dlc" with nothing but the base game and the following two quotes from keens support site {LINK REMOVED}https://support.keenswh.com/, marked as completed "If you decide not to purchase the Decorative Pack, but you want to play with friends or other players who did buy the Decorative Pack, you will still be able to join a multiplayer game or server with them and enjoy the game. In this case, you will be able to view and interact with these new blocks, but you won’t be able to build them", and "All DLC is included in the base game for use and interaction. However people who have not bought the DLC content cannot spawn the DLC content themselves". You could also download the world the author put up that includes the whole fleet

Yeah, I am afraid it does. I am in the process of updating my ship file so this will be eventually available in there even if you do not have the DLC, but it's a slow process as I am working on a rather big project as well.
A lot of my older designs to not require any DLC and you can download my worlds that feature a lot of my newer models with the DLC without having to own them.
I suggest waiting for the DLC to be on a sale, that happens from time to time.

Don’t let yourself deter by the amount of DLC. They are cosmetic and you don’t need them to enjoy the game
