Unable to replicate this. You likely have another mod overriding containers causing this issue.
fixed
Yep, and while there is an attribute for changing it in XML (MaxStackSizeHoldableAndWearable or something like that), setting it higher than 8 has no effect.
Overrides the max stack size for holdable items, which unfortunately cannot be done through XML .
Ah! That's what was tripping me up - at the moment it's unclear which cabinet types accept what deep storage containers. I was under the impression that they could be placed into anything, so I tried to place the firearms/ammunition/grenade containers in the Camel's armory (Large Steel Cabinet) and was prevented.
Thank you for adding support for additional mods, by the way! For me, the only mods I can think of that I'd like to request support for are the THG Armory mods
Sounds like you have another mod overriding cabinets higher in your load order than this mod.
This mod overrides most vanilla cabinets to have dedicated slots for these containers. If you do not see these slots, some other mod is also overriding vanilla cabinets and in doing so removing the dedicated slots.
I've just released an update that fixes most of these issues: the ammo container now takes rifle ammo, and can be stored in more cabinet types. The grenade container remains locked to secure cabinets for the moment as it doesn't really feel right to me to allow it in other containers (may still change in the future).
As for mod support, I'm willing to do it, but it'll be a slow process of adding support for mods one-by-one. If you have any specific mods in mind, please let me know and I'll start on compatibility for those as soon as possible.
The ammunition container seems to be unable to accept rifle rounds, as well as any mod-added ammunition (though I don't know how much you are able to do about mod ammo).
