@Cedaro No worries, just wanted to let you know. You could always look into how other mods do similar things and try copying their home work. I know Vanilla Traits Expanded has a working feature for blocking traits from showing up. And there is the old Cherry Picker method of "soft removal" leaving the thing in question still existing in the code but cutting out references to for compatibility purposes.

Not to pile on, but the "Alternate Memory Traits" option still is causing some issues. It's tripping up the mod Trait Rarity Colors with a System.NullReferenceException error.

I forgot to mention disabling the option fixed the error I was seeing as now I can see Great Memory and Perfect Memory when I try to find traits

I don't know what's causing it, but I noticed when I had "Alternative Memory Traits" selected, Great and Perfect Memory were removed but pawns would still generate with them and it would result in blank trait slots

I get these errors with RimWorld 1.6 and this mod and Harmony are the only ones installed.

Testing with mining, value set to 0, 0.001, 0.9, 1, the result is the same : XP is gained as fast.
Maybe is there a conflict with Endless Growth mod or something else (I don't have so many) ?

It made me find another way : write 1, then put the "." before the 1. You will get 0.1, and will be able to edit any way you want.

I tried this mod for a long run and i can say that this mod is Multiplayer compatible unlike mad skills. its name is really "mad skills +" gj <3

This mod seems to break the way skill degradation is supposed to work with skill genes. A pawn with a base level of 8 in a skill and +8 from a great skill gene, for 16 total skill, should have no skill degradation because skill degradation is based on the level without gene bonuses and penalties. But with this installed that pawn will have the skill degradation for a base level of 16.

OHHHHHHH I'm stupid. I thought I had to set it higher so that it could take around the same amount of time to level past 20 as it did getting TO 20. Sorry, I completely misunderstood the point of the option, don't mind me.

@TheEnergeticEngineer yes the max limit is 1.0. See if you set it above 1, leveling up would be easier for each higher level, no longer works as a soft cap.

I'm unable to change the Lv.20+ XP multiplier above 1. It just keeps resetting back to 1 no matter what I do. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using EndlessGrowth to allow for skills over level 20, if knowing that could help you diagnose the issue at all.

The original mad skills claims there is an incompatibility with VSE on their end that he/she cannot fix but you state VSE is compatible. Are you sure?

quick question does this mod throw errors that stops your pawns from using skills?

asking as i am getting a bug were my pawns will suddenly be unable to do anything connected to a skill or get spammed with errors that makes the game lag hard till it stops

as the only good thing is it fixes it self over time

Please set the coefficient for the "Overexp" skill acquisition bonus to 100%, otherwise it will have a maximum cap of 1,0000% skill acceleration.

Here is a 2 errors I figured the first error loading in to a save would a be the issue. but I'm not to sure.

Still broken, pawn is still gone in the save, could be my load order or some other mod. I'm not sure anymore...

I think this mod updating broke my save, it is the most recent updated mod I have downloaded, So I feel I have to assume it is this one. one of my pawns just vanished and another is constantly spitting out errors:

Exception in Verse.PostLoadIniter.DoAllPostLoadInits: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I can load earlier saves that didn't have this mod, and the pawn is still there.
honestly if there is some thing I can do to my save to fix it that would be nice to know.
Other then that I love that you keep updating this mod.

经验影响系数好像有问题,我调整过数值结果总是会自己跳回100%,尝试过好几次都改不了。其他相关的影响等级的mod就只有一个解除技能等级上限的mod

OMG This finally fixed my "standing still" problem! Thank you so much!
Apparently the original "Mad Skillz" mod and the "Vanilla Expanded Skills" Mod don't work together and create this "standing still" bug.
But now my Builder is finally building again!:steamthumbsup:
