I've been working on something similar to this recently bc i was pretty disappointed with what i released on workshop. I'm "remaking" Knee Deep in the Dead and eventually releasing it as a beta for more episodes, hopefully up to Thy Flesh Consumed. my idea is that the levels will maintain most rooms from the original levels but largely altered to allow each level to take a decent amount of time to beat. the level names will also be changed too to fit the new levels' design. for example e1m1 is called Core (instead of Hangar), named after a specific room you'll need to get past in the first section.

Nice ideas for a conversion, but walls are mostly grey, without any variation. There's also too few health pickups, and not enough explosive weapons
