poopupupu cut it with some extra blocks (red and green etc) and merge thro these extra blocks. Or put it where you want, place a block on it and merge thro this block

cathymb1 I got the point, it is impossible to make true rectangular pyramids with no gamedev power or modding, so these ones above is the best way I can offer. You can try to make your own xml and it might be smaller than mine, but my should fit in most cases since I cant make all possible xmls for all possible situations. Moreover, there are some cases where nothing can help but a mod or devs.

@dushaman I know you said to send pictures to a discord but I mean you have end caps like the square based pyramids that can go from 1x1x1 to 1x1x4 but do you have a 5x5x8 ( basically a square of 3 with 1x1x1 triangles on the side to be connected to ), I can send a image in a minute
