There is nothing I can do. Removing it should not kill you since the torso normally can't be splinted in Vanilla, as evident by your inability to put it back. If you are actually dying, you can solve it by using debug mode to heal yourself.
Yes, that is the base time. But it is reduced significantly by wearing a Split, applying Comfrey, being well fed, and your First Aid level.
I've confirmed that to be the case, but I don't know how to fix it. I've set them to be mutually exclusive instead. Since this mod's injuries are much more severe than Rough Landing, using them together is basically just free points anyway.
Both fractures without splints and burns without bandages cause damage. You would die in less than 10 seconds if the game started without them. Burns need to be cleaned regularly, so the health loss while replacing bandages is an added difficulty of this mod.
I made the mod you requested. You can find it in the description of this mod.
What type of sick? The "Has a Cold" moodle?

I agree that 25 might be too many or not enough depending on your preference. Since this is a hardmode type of mod, I leaned towards the latter. I was going to add sandbox options to customize it, but I don't know how to do that.
However, you can customize the points yourself without me adding specific sandbox options, editing the files of this mod, or using other mods. The vanilla game has a "Free Trait Points" sandbox option.
Start Custom Sandbox, click the Character Tab, and change the Free Trait Points value to whatever you want. For example, if you think this trait should give 35 points, changing Free Trait Points to 10 will give the same result. Likewise, if you think it should only give 15, you could change it to -10. It accepts values between -100 and 100, so it should be enough for everyone.
its very easy to do tho.

F***ing take my points.
