Hi!!
I'm having a problem using retractable weapons on a dedicated server running Torch. The weapons often get hidden or half-open, or you turn them off and they don't return to their drawer.

Do you have my weaponpack + any separate uploads of my weapons in your world? That will cause a crash. otherwise I would need to see the crash report from weaponcore

Not sure why but when I try to use the battleship weapons, either retractable or surface, weapons core has a hard crash, and all weaponcore weapons no longer work until I remove instances of the mod and reload the game. Any ideas?

Let me observe this a bit more. we just started a fresh server. Just installed the gatling guns in your pack, so far, no issues, will have to test with the railguns/battleship cannons as well.

Thank you! I eventually opted to use WC after all, it just works really well.

Also I got your whole pack, I love the work you put into it. One more question. I noticed that when using the MkI Railgun Cannon that they turn red once I leave the area. I then have to switch them off and on again to go green. Is this normal?

It’s less wc dependent now that the animations use animation engine. However there are still minor features for most weapons that can only be done with WC and some weapons would completely lose there abilities without it.

Hi there. I would like to use this without WeaponCore. Is this possible? what makes this need Weapon Core in the first place? Is it still usable without but misses some features? If so, is there a non WeaponCore version? Thanks for putting in the hard work :)

I seem to have a similar problem, but I am, to put it lightly, an extremely tech-illiterate person. What is ''Torch''? Maybe your solution would work for me too?

I reinstalled Torch, thereby completely clearing the cache of the program itself. I cleaned the folder with mods and cached settings. After that, it seems that the turret works correctly and is always aimed at enemies.

It’s still placable but can be difficult. I think there is a mod that gives you extended placement range though if you are struggling

This might be a question thats been asked already, but it's late and I just want to use this and get this question down, how do you even place the MK3 turret? The thing is so big I can't place it without my character being inside the box of the turret so it won't place. Is there some feature I've just never known about to help place things like this or....? I can't figure out how to place this thing

Do make sure you don’t have the weapon pack and a separate upload of a weapon in the same world

That doesn’t cause issues you can ignore it. If weaponcore is crashing and you have a bug log I can help you otherwise the weapons work fine and I put it down to user error. There is no change I can make that would fix the weird issue you are having with them.

Updated: The problem does not occur when the server is rebooted, but spontaneously. Maybe turn off/on

After a server restart, the damage is set to 0 and will not fire at any settings. Also in the information variable Event:Reloading - ProtoWeaponAmmo has the value true, although before the reboot it was false.

(MK3 Battleship Cannon tested)

As a result, to shoot again, you need to either rebuild after every reload. Does it make sense to wait for a fix?

The link is out dates to the original darkstar weaponcore. The weaponcore under required items is up to date and should automatically be added into your world

You can manually control them but not like vanilla turrets. You can set it so that they will follow where you look and they can lock on to something you are looking at. Then use mouse click to have them fire

Might be a dumb question, haven't played in years, but is there an option to control the turrets manually the way it's done with vanilla turrets? If I want to shoot at something that's not an actual target recognized by AI, for instance. Can't find that option in the control panel

I love the look and aesthetic of the cannons. But is there a way to add offset for mk3 canons to shoot? Like adding a delay for each shot so they wont shoot all 3 at the same time.

halo like on style ohh just don't just make the UNSC style like another halo mod i know i would like to see Covenant style as well it would make for a interesting combat in my pvp pve server

Im not sure I have a set vision on what exactly im looking for in design. The faction itself would be a sort of federation ingame. Maybe something halo like on style

There are smaller weapons in my pack that you can fit on a corvette. You can also use it along side vanilla weapons. The shattered pack on my workshop is much more balanced and can be better used with vanilla weapons
