Hey. I wanted to ask, if there is a way of using this mod to make a class that starts with an effect similar to the High Gravity perk that used to be in the game. I wanna use it as a balancing tool for one of the classes I made for myself. It's a high hp "Golem" that starts with 4x Recoil Damper perk (so no spell speed) and a Heavy Shot "Sledgehammer" (even made some cool custom sprites). Now I'd like to half his ability to fly, as the wiki says the effect of High Gravity can potentially be replicated with mods. Any ideas how?

Hey so I’m checking a few of my mods, my random starting loadouts aren’t working half the time. Multiple loadouts wind up leaving me with wands and flasks in my spell inventory that I can’t interact with, weirder still the game tells me the secondary wand I have can still be unequipped when using the wand equip ui, but whatever slot the game says the wand is in appears empty and unavailable to me. I can’t use the wands, or the bottles, and the bottles are only able to be right clicked. I can’t move them at all, and this has ruined a few runs of mine. Is there any fix to this at all?

Playing noita for the first time in a while and see that the mod now has an option for disabling the spells from appearing, good stuff :)

I ended up completely disabling TRS, all functions, and manually disabling each loadout

Sounds like the same problem as the last guy, the base TRS mod and this expansion are both running their startup scripts. Make sure you've turned off all the Advanced settings in TRS.

it is designed that at startup it shows me who I am twice? (I get different sets, for example: archmage + electricity mage)

That sounds like TRS and MTRS are both running their startup scripts, make sure that you've got TRS's advanced settings turned off.

Is it normal to have two instances of "you're a _____" pop up at the start? Since using this with Thematic Random Starts I seem to always get two separate "you're a _____" at the start

Is there any chance of getting a version of this with JUST the robes? I love those but even with all loadout settings disabled you can still find the added perks and spells in runs

Check and see if this update fixes it. If the MTRS slider gives you random loadouts that should be easily fixed by just kinda wiggling the slider so that the setting gets updated.

I tried deleting settings.lua and unsub-resubbing. Still does it. I tried only deleting the settings, but then the menu just isn't in the mod options. It seems to be something in your file and it seems you've done an update a few days ago that was between my first interaction with this mod (where it did not happen) and now (where it happens every time).

Shit, I think I know what causes that, try deleting the settings file at steamapps/workshop/content/881100/3018238248/settings.lua

Might have to re-subscribe again after that to get a fresh settings file

It happens every time I try to click that (very important) header! I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing. Doesn't help. The text just effs off to the right and off screen.

Dude, the weirdest thing just happened. I was clicking through options in the mod settings and suddenly, upon opening the drop down menu "Loadout Selection", the entire menu just literally wanders off to the right and off the screen!! The text is just: "Ok bye cya! NEOOOM!" Wtf is happening lol? Have you ever witnessed this?

Hm... I have a seed changer installed, but it's currently disabled. I've been messing with my mod list and I think it might have affected it? I've been restarting a lot to try to get things sorted out and it seems to be giving me a wider selection. The only thing else I noticed was that my last run I spawned in as a guinea pig even though it's set to disabled, but that's not really that big of an issue for me.

@lord.riker I'm not doing anything like that on purpose, but tbh I have absolutely no idea how Noita's RNG works on the inside. The method used to seed the random generator might not be ideal, you might be getting some kind of mod interference, and if you're using Seed Changer I'm fairly certain the world seed is super important to the RNG process.

I don't know if it's possibly interference from another mod, but it feels like the weight might be off? I feel like I get the same small handful of starts while rarely seeing any others. Butcher especially seems to come up a lot (probably about 1 in 5 starts). Maybe it's just RNG or something being weird too.

@Shoug - I'm flattered anyone would extend my mod at all regardless of their vision for it! That being said, I think Haette has done a great job keeping the spirit of the mod with all the new and interesting loadouts.

@Yaddah - Believe it or not, every wand in the base game is named "wand"!

Separate category of loadouts for this mod would be fine, I think. Btw, is there a reason why all the wands you start with are simply called "wand" in the ui, when they have different and more interesting names in the files?

I'll leave some comments in the important places for integrating new loadout lists. Decent chance I'll miss something but it'll point you in the right direction.

And I'm trying to stick to Mr Wimples' theme of early-game variety more than long-term fixed playstyles. There's definitely the occasional utility wand that will hang around in your inventory for a while, and I also try to respect the vanilla loadout's "swap the spells in your starting wands" trick to give a little more lifespan to a rushed Mines run. But yeah, full-blown permanent loadouts would be either *very* separated from the current loadouts, or a separate mod entirely.

Lol, that would be almost a Dota type experience with 3 "abilities" (wands with frequent use) and 1 "ultimate" (strong wand with slow recharge). :D

Oh one more thing: Since you like creating unique playthrough experiences, maybe a cool idea for a mod would be classes that all start with the No Wand Tinkering perk, but get pretty unique wands and items that remain useful from start to finish. Something like the Monk or other cool starts but with lategame viability, if you play the class well... Just a thought.

Heh yeah. Btw, is there an easy way to add more one's own class ideas? With proper menu integration and everything. If not, maybe that's an idea for the future. I've sunk hours into coming up with class ideas and overwriting some of those I don't like as much, but that's more than clunky.

Yeah at some point I need to figure out a better way to handle that, it's kind of clunky and non-obvious. And that's not even mentioning the fact that 50+ options on a little slider is already pretty fiddly to use lol

I disabled all 3 advanced settings of the original mod and I still always start with the class I last played from that mod. None of the new classes ever show up. I placed your mod below the original one on the mod list. What's wrong?

@Noob Demoman You can pick two keys for each action in the controls->keybinds menu, just set up a second one for "use wand."
Not the mod settings, just the regular game options.

Does it work if you crank it all the way up to 100%?
Also, TRS recently changed the way its settings work, so make sure you've turned off everything under its "Advanced" options menu.

i don't think the vanilla loadout chance is working, i set it to 90% and got a random new one 4 times in a row, then i thought maybe it was reversed and set it to 10% but still got random loadouts never vanilla
