Great mod.
Valkerion™ 12 Jan @ 9:55pm
Yep, basically a mandatory mod for having to change mods daily to play b42 lol
Gweek 19 Dec, 2024 @ 4:40am
@Nepenthe You convinced me that I need this mod for B42 rn
Nepenthe 18 Dec, 2024 @ 4:42pm
Thanks, this is great especially as the mod list is constantly getting tweaked as more things become available for B42. Nice to just set mods on the main menu then "updated from enabled" loading a game, instead of having to manually sync to avoid reloading lua every time.
Ryan 2 Nov, 2024 @ 2:49pm
it doesn't update the game mod list

Sweet god it took me some time to finally remember the name of this mandatory tool, just ended up adding to favs to never forget again, i was looking dumfounded when i kept loading my savefile and my mods didn't change mid save then i realized this pop up wasn't showing up and i thought it was actually part of some other mod in the first place. :deadrat:

@reulloamregistro
You have specific set of mods associated with your save, which might not match currently activated set of mods. This mod will show you the difference.

For example, in your save you have mods A,B,C,D, but in mod menu you have B,X,Y,Z activated.
When you load your save this mod will show you two columns - mods in save (A,B,C,D) on the left and activated mods (B,X,Y,Z) on the right. And you can decide what you want to do:

- load mods from save (this will reload lua with mods A,B,C,D and load your save without changing activated set of mods)
- update from save (this will do the same as above but also overwrite activated set of mods with A,B,C,D)
- update from enabled (this will overwrite mods in save from A,B,C,D to B,X,Y,Z)
- load from enabled (this will just load your save with currently activated set of mods (B,X,Y,Z))

@Wetto
No, it's for singleplayer only

@BlackStone
I created it initially to handle multiple saves with different sets of mods, and tracking changes in case some mods were deleted/changed ids/etc.
Also, in your case this window pops up because you probably have different set of mods in your save vs mod manager, so you can immediately see what's changed. Without this mod the game will forcefully load mods from your save, without asking.

Perdona, se ve bueno, pero sinceramente, no he entendido bien el objetivo del mod, que se supone que se deben hacer con las discrepancias? son mod que estan fallando? o simplemente indica que mod estan activos en una partida?
bigcool3571 23 Nov, 2023 @ 8:19am
Not sure if its possible with this mod, but could you like maybe make an autoloader? So i dont have to dick around in the re-orderer for hours fixing mod positions?
BlackStone 25 Oct, 2023 @ 10:03pm
It's a little confusing to me. If I hit Load from Enabled, does that change the "continued game" to reflect the most updated changes I had just made to the mods.

It seems redundant. I make a change to a mod, then save it to the exact same name before the change, hit accept, then click continue, then this mod pops window and ask to update and or load from the changes I made. Like why have to tell this mod what I already know I did? The game should play a continued game as long as you saved the changes right?

Does this work with the mod manager for servers? or does it not work for MP
Lanceris  [author] 25 Aug, 2023 @ 8:40am
@Murasame
- Enable some mods
- Create new save or load existing
- Exit to menu
- Change active mods or mod load order
- Load save
- Window with changes should pop-up
Kobato 22 Aug, 2023 @ 10:40pm
Noob question how to bring up this mod comparer window
Kras 19 Aug, 2023 @ 5:33pm
@Murasame - Yes
Kras 19 Aug, 2023 @ 5:33pm
Absolutely necessary mod, specially when you are testing new load orders in a game with +100 other mods
Riko Prushka 15 Aug, 2023 @ 11:15pm
This is a must have mod :SX3Done:
Lanceris  [author] 15 Aug, 2023 @ 11:32am
@Nightmare73rus
You will see this menu when loading saved game and if mods in your save do not match activated mods.
E.g. you have 10 mods in save and 5 activated mods (in mod manager), so when clicking on "continue" in main menu or "play" from load menu, you will see this window with differences.
Nightmare73rus 15 Aug, 2023 @ 10:21am
Где искать эту менюшку?
Lanceris  [author] 14 Aug, 2023 @ 11:28am
@Murasame
Mod Manager is compatible, but there is no integration between the two. Is there something you want to see added?
Kobato 14 Aug, 2023 @ 8:26am
Does this works with mod manager?
