I'd like to suggest some kind of option to rebind take flight to a second jump attempt while in the air. Having it be linked to grab makes me drop stuff often. Like jump once, jump normal but jump and jump again or fall off a ledge and jump mid air and that makes you fly. This would still leave holding up to glide open as you could just leap once or fall and not hit that second jump.

Hold up though. I just tested (for like five minutes but still) and the mod is working as intended on the new version. I think it was Slugbase that was broken and needed updating and now that it has been wingcat is seemingly unaffected? I think we're good but again I didn't play for very long

@rivulet go poink On the game's page in Steam hit the gear on the far right and select Properties, then select Betas and pick which game version you'd like to play, 1.9.15b is at the bottom as it's the second most recent version. If you're using mods that have been updated to work for The Watcher they may not work still once you revert, but most mods have past versions available on Github which will work.

Guys the mod isn't being updated anymore Faeling said on their tumblr they have no plans for it as they're busy with other things and are satisfied with it as is, you can still play wingcat in version 1.9.15b.

This mod is really fun but I cant do the expanse ending becuaes my child gains the abilty to be a glider and if u drop him he flys to the next universe and I have rotund world on and the pups gain four trillon pounds ofter getting to the tree and crash the game

Me again, OE ending crashes the game. I remember I was able to ascend in a previous playthrough and did get my score/summary at the end. But I've tried OE multiple times and the same result Wojtek described

this mod adds aerial combat to the game and it's so fun. i just fly around sky islands engaging in whatever mischief i can. 10/10

Where is wingcat in the timeline?

i've been trying to figure out why the legs sprite appears above the hips, but i haven't found anything or any way to fix this myself, as this makes dms not work properly in that one way; if the hip sprites are longer (e.g, being an outfit or dress, etc...) the legs will always show up in front of it. is there any way to fix this?

i would love it if you did a configuration or improved config setting for a button where you can keybind the flight bc its extremely uncomfortable for me flying bc i dont usualy use that keybind to play pls T-T

Would it be possible to make this mod compatible with Improved Input Config? I often accidentally drop my things while trying to enter flight.

I've also encountered an annoying issue - the ending crashes the game, therefore when I reached the end the game just stayed on the loading screen, I've a had black screen with "loading" in the corner for 10 minutes, after waiting I Alt + F4'ed the game and when I booted it up again, the ending counted, but I cannot get a summary of my playthrough :(

This was VERY FUN, but also extremely easy. This was by far the easiest campaign I've ever played, dethroning The Similar by a lightyear. I mean, what other modded slugcat can cross 4 different biomes in a single cycle while not going any difficult routes or even worring about threats at this point. There's a lizard in the room? Just say hi to the skybox...

But by far the best feeling was seeing a leviathan on my route in Shoreline and just deciding this slugcat is too cool for that sh*t, I just flew over it
