Great room! My friend and I took 1h 42mins to solve, but unfortunately, we also couldn't do the ship room (definitely could do with a reset option). I thought the tile room was very well done. The circuit room was also really fun to do but the instructions in the book were a little confusing. Took some trial and error to understand the rules of that one, but once I did it was very rewarding.

This was a brilliant escape room, but like others who struggled with it, I was exhausted by the end. Determined to complete all five mini-rooms, I doggedly hammered away for two to three hours before I finished. The most difficult puzzle to navigate was, unsurprisingly, the ship room. Without having a way to reset the boat, I quickly found myself lost in the waves and had to do multiple trial-and-error attempts before finding my way back to the center of the map. I would STRONGLY recommend another way to gain bearings if the ship goes off-course. After all that tediousness, I was in a poor mindset to complete the tile room, so I'm sure it took longer than it would have otherwise. All puzzles were clever and well-presented; a challenging use of my time. Thanks for the fun!

When are you gonna make a new room? Your rooms have always been the best

The snake puzzle and stained glass were great, but I ragequit on the boat. Like other said, by the time I figured out the mechanics my boat was already somewhere in the middle of the "ocean" and I couldn't figure it how to orient myself. It definitely needs a reset button.

Overall an interesting level. The ship room was tedious and would have been better with a smaller grid. It's difficult to tell exactly where you are positioned, and the movement mechanics are a bit too tedious.
The tile room was great except it went on too long and the D segment did not need to exist. It kind of overstayed its welcome.
We found 3 cats.. no idea if there was a cat per room or if this was it. Would have been nice to know somehow. If there's only 3, having 3 cat bowls in the level would be a nice indicator of that, or something.

Very creative though.

Room 2 had vital piece not spawning, could not finish.

This was one of the most interesting rooms we have played, and we played 100+ rooms over time. The two last riddles in the tiles room, especially the last one, was quite challenging (finding out what to actually do), but eventually we made it =).

dude below sucks this was EZ

This is genuinely the worst hovel of lukewarm dogshit I have played in this godforsaken game. Playing this level made me wish that I could experience a fatal home invasion. The portion with the boat in particular made me crave deep, serious knife wounds in my own body. This isn't a personal slight against the author, just a retelling of my emotions while I endured ONE HOUR AND FIFTY ONE MINUTES of nonstop, unending mental horrors from beyond what a human mind should sustain in 70 years of warfare.

6/10 solid work but definitely stop.

10/10 Super Fun

Oh I see, thanks for the info, we completed it, it was fun :) we started to open doors willy nilly to try and mess the other person up haha Thanks for the challenge!

unfortunatly with the complexity of the map, this does happen when you play it coop, its to keep the framerate at a playable rate - id reccomend playing it in either competative mode, or all keep together when going in and out of rooms in co-op!
aprilynnski 20 Jan, 2024 @ 12:35am
Playing this with 3 people and all the walls and floor keep disappearing when someone opens a door, is this a feature or a bug?
Tau 4 Jan, 2024 @ 7:43pm
In the five crystal room, there's an alternate solution to the last tile puzzle.
It's the following: FIVE, HUOT, CEII, ZWER. I mean you can still guess the solution from that but it's still a bit unfortunate.
(And yes, there's the circle where the O is supposed to be but we didn't really know what to make of it)
Bearded Wonder 13 Dec, 2023 @ 8:20pm
not sure if others are experiencing the same. but it seems to be jumpy. not a frame rate issue on my PC but in the map itself. it smooths out at times but is seem to be jumpy

Fantastic set of rooms! The only one I really struggled with was the ocean/ship room. I worked out what to do, but had already moved the ship, and there isn't a reset, so I couldn't work out precisely where the ship was on the grid. A grid on the roof or something above the ship would be helpful. The light shining down onto the sand was helpful in some cases, but for initial placement wasn't so helpful.

Other than that, I think this is my favourite of the escape rooms. I loved the logic-style puzzles. I'll be looking out for more of your rooms!

Same issue with the crystal under the shelf in the five crystal room. Played the rooms in order.

Phenomenal room. Hard path but well marked.
Liloshka 6 Oct, 2023 @ 2:29pm
i had the same issue but i found the crystal under the shelf (room 5)
Leo  [author] 6 Oct, 2023 @ 8:22am
Im glad you enjoyed it! but im sorry about the crystal problem you had. did you do any other rooms before 4 and 5 by any chance? I wasnt able to recreate the issue was all? Thank you again for playing! :D
the_vivster 6 Oct, 2023 @ 1:01am
I played this solo (took me around 3 hours to complete) not knowing it was meant as a versus.. I completed the 5-crystal room before the 4-crystal room and only got 4 crystals - was this intentional? Regardless, one of the more challenging and enjoyable rooms I've played. Good diversity of puzzles and utilization of different elements not normally employed. Utter satisfaction after I completed it all on my own without any glitches!!
barret91 26 Sep, 2023 @ 6:39am
played it coop and when one of us used the exit room button it glitched the game for the other person
d0uble0h 16 Sep, 2023 @ 2:58am
This was one of the best rooms I've played yet. That tile and code room was amazing. I think the sea room could be a little more intuitive regarding relative positions of plots on the seafloor, but otherwise, fantastic room.
celinra 15 Sep, 2023 @ 7:08pm
I played this solo (got to it from the in-game recommendations and so didn't see the description), and even though that wasn't quite how the game was meant to be played, I still had a blast with it. Quite possibly my favorite of the rooms I've played so far - intuitive enough that all the puzzle logic makes sense, yet challenging enough that you feel that sense of accomplishment once you figure it out and complete a puzzle. I thought the 5-crystal room was especially well-done, starting more basic and scaling up as it went on, introducing a concept and then expanding on it.

There were a couple bugs (I ran into the same compass issue as Marthmer), but overall, I thought this was phenomenally done, and though it took a while for me to finish, I had a great time figuring out all the puzzles. Fantastic work, thanks for making it!
Leo  [author] 14 Sep, 2023 @ 8:21am
@Marthmer hey! sorry that you had trouble with the ocean zone! it does look like you missed a few things that would have helped you - you didnt need to be able to combine the notes together in any external program! theres actually a few empty frames on the wall that you can use to combile the notes together but i mean honestly putting the effort to do that out of ES, i gotta give you props for the effort!

Im not entirely sure what your issue was with the note? I can understand the text being hard to read - ill change it for something easier to see! but the note is correct and accurate to where the treasure is?

To help as well, ive tighened up the logic on the compass as well! i wasnt able to replicate the issues you were having, but hopefully the new logic should stop any issues with it in the future ^^

I have no idea how to solve the puzzles in the 4-crystal room or the 5-crystal room, or the final puzzle. PLEASE post a walkthrough!
Adyxtion 8 Sep, 2023 @ 4:52pm
Would be good to get a reset button that puts the boat back in its original position for the pirate room as it is really hard to work out where the boat is on the map once you have moved it a couple of times. Loved the other rooms and loved the concept. Was so excited for how close to the Crystal maze it was :)

WALKTHROUGH PLS
pandy351 7 Sep, 2023 @ 8:04pm
I wasnt able to solve the pirate room after you get the pictures on the wall. It's hard to tell where the anchor is.
Rivulet 2 Sep, 2023 @ 3:46am
Can you please add a walk through in the discussions tab or in the pause menu because some puzzles felt a bit too difficult
The King of the Sunday Funnies 29 Aug, 2023 @ 9:07pm
The transistor room was fixed, thanks!

Really good room. The decoding puzzle was great.

Two things to highlight, on the ocean room whenever you spin the boat you drop some frames and it looks to me that some particles on the 3rd and 5th room cause more frames to drop if you look at them.

5 stars!
pancholover69XXX 29 Aug, 2023 @ 9:06pm
Great map as usual, managed to play co-op after your fix, thanks, I really liked the 5th room puzzles
Leo  [author] 28 Aug, 2023 @ 11:33am
Oop x3 im a good builder i swear XD should be fixed now!
Fisch_Stix 28 Aug, 2023 @ 10:51am
whatever change you made to the puzzle table now has it freaking out and glitching around the room for me.
Leo  [author] 28 Aug, 2023 @ 10:02am
It looks like its a problem when zooming into a top view of the table. Ill disable it for now and see what i can do to fix it - thanks for letting me know!
The King of the Sunday Funnies 27 Aug, 2023 @ 7:19pm
Can confirm the crash when touching the table in the transistor room.
Nodal 24 Aug, 2023 @ 4:08pm
I was having a lot of fun, but in multiplayer whenever any of us touch the table in the transistor room, the game crashes.
CinnaMon 24 Aug, 2023 @ 11:21am
The symbols/letters/decoding puzzle room was extremely cool idea. Walking into the room not expecting that literally the walls and floor are a part of the escape room was a unique concept! I did end up solving the resistor puzzle, however once I completed it nothing happened so I just left the room. The ship room was another fantastic idea but ended up getting confused on figuring out where the ship was on the map.
Leo  [author] 24 Aug, 2023 @ 3:52am
Aww, thank you Robin!!! It means a lot that you liked it! :D
Robin 23 Aug, 2023 @ 6:54pm
You've really done another awesome job with puzzles here, as we all have come to expect from your reputation :) I did the snake and stained glass on my own, but I took a hint to finish up the resistors and cheated a bit on the ship :P Very high quality map in all regards. Well done, and good luck :)
Leo  [author] 19 Aug, 2023 @ 6:49pm
Thank you for the feedback! Ive made a few adjustments as per your feedback! Let me know if you give it another shot and if the extra clues and edits help! ^-^

The ship puzzle...i wish there was a restart button, to make the ship go back to the starting placement. Right after entering the room I clicked some things, moved the ship some way, couldn't orient myself later. Also I don't know if it's a bug or what, but sometimes I couldn't do more than one move in the same direction, it would bounce me back and forth (it was in the middle of the "sea", i was not bouncing off the walls or anything). It got me frustrated and made me give up on that puzzle.
Alice_inBlackParade 19 Aug, 2023 @ 4:07pm
Hi! I absolutely love the idea of this game show kind of room. The puzzles are challenging, I really like ideas behind them. What I would suggest: the circuit puzzle could be a bit smaller sizewise or maybe positioned lower. It's kind of hard to see some spots and place tiles acurately (unless it's intentional, then I guess it's understandable. still a bit frustrating though, hahah). In the symbols/letters/decoding/what not puzzle I was able to open 2 locks and then sadly my braincells were not enough to finish the room. I'd love some answers about that one, so I can sleep peacefully later xD
