It was the most used non-heraldic Norman, English, and Norse shield. Man chivalry is pretty fun but i wish it were more realistic.

@Somerled No, Chivalry isn't dark ages, but use of the Kite Shield is mostly limited to the dark ages, and it is true that this was the most common design used on those shields - the Normans, Vikings and Saxons were all known to have commonly used this swirl-cross design. Honestly, it's a surprise that it isn't already a kite shield pattern.
