@Chikara Thanks for playing. It's been a year and more since I created this one. I played it again, found it a bit tricky, onerous and sometimes puzzling:steamfacepalm: Anyway, let's move on!

This is a very ambitious map where you have really used the possibilities of the room editor. Great style and some really interesting puzzles! Some things I do not get, like the point of the height squares since the code is given, or how to figure out which coal cart should have what coal.

The biggest issue, for me though, is the fact that it gradually activates things that was not interactable before. Sometimes the areas light up after a sound cue, but sometimes they don't. If I have already tried clicking on something and nothing happened, I will not try again, but then a few moments later, they are activated. Like the barrier in the puzzle going down after picking up the ring. I figured that one was done and suddenly I could do more.

No doubt this is very well made, the train of thought was not just how I think so I struggled. :)

@deep6blue Good point that I should have considered to exercise before. Of course the BGMs match the ambience but I have added 2 buttons to toggle them. Thanks.

Please turn the music off. Or at least tie it to the Escape Simulator "Music" function so it can be turned off/or down based on the user preference. There is no reason for the music.

@K8sparrot Well, I happened to spy on you when I entered our private message channel on discord. There is always a state of which game you are playing and headline of map.
Thanks for being positive about my map!

Oh my, that is a complex and challenging map! I did need the walkthrough but not for everything - there were just a couple of things where I wasn't sure how to do the mechanics of the puzzle. Amazing work - thank you!!!!!

Thanks FrostyBeak - I must find out how to spy on people playing my one and only room! I did carry on but I'm so slow I had to leave to feed the "littlies" - will try again over the next few days. The room is amazing though!

@k8sparrot Hey! I just caught you playing my room on discord. What a coincidence.
I met this issue several times in my test. It is because you turned the indicator too fast to show on/off. The trigger behind it could just in time to respond to "on enter" event, which is to show, but no time for "on exit", which is to hide. For reversing it, you could just move the indicator through the screen back and fro as fast as you can.

I have a problem in the first room where - as a result of pfaffing around - I have all 4 icons showing on the gear/turntable puzzle at the same time, as in they overlay each other - I had to use the walkthrough to understand which turntable related to which icon . I'm carrying on though!

@CinnaMon Thanks for your feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed the 1st and 2nd room while the 3rd one is the full swing part.
And I am sorry that you had trouble with some puzzles. 1) The cage was used to make you finish the ring part first for there was an intended order as 4 posters went. I used a cage instead of Logic simply because it corresponded to the destination of J.H Totem, which makes sense. Maybe I will replace it for a Collider Logic. 2) Among the prop behaviors, there are such options as turnable, button, dial and drag target sharing the same cogwheel cursor when your mouse is hovering. The latter one (drag target) is easily mistaken for something interactive. Though I really need this one to display the descriptive name of items, I will consider to reduce it to less confusion. 3) This might be an occasional issue for my horse was static during one of my many tests, but it only happened once and I chose to ignore it.

I came into this thinking it would be a one room escape. Little did I know, there was a lot more to this room. I really enjoyed playing through the first and second room and think those ones are perfect. The third room I had a lot of trouble with, Like for example: 1) The part with the totem I got confused on for awhile, I didn't know the cage would drop down after finding the ring so I assumed it was meant to stay up. 2) Knowing to look inside the window of the house. I kept on clicking on the structures on the table so I assumed I'd never have to interact with them. 3) For some reason my horse did not move like yours in the walkthrough when placing my guy on the dot

@Robin Thanks for your compliment. I do realize it's a bit lengthy for there were moments when I wanted it to end, while I can't help going on and on. It was designed that each medium-length novel was assigned 2-3 puzzles and the workshop was the main scene of the room, so the hallway and vestibule before it were too long to be inspiring and expecting.

This map is so stylish and super dense with puzzles (that is a compliment!). I started the map the other day, and while I couldn't finish it in one sitting, but I will be back to complete it soon. While the puzzles are difficult, they are fair and satisfying. Overall, while it may not be the best energy for a fast paced versus map, it is an incredibly high quality room and I was very impressed. Good luck!

@TheGingerVixen88 X=10, but X =an upright V plus an upside down V, which is indicated by what's on the face of wooden box. REFLECTION.

x=10, v= 5
