your mod apparently bug the growth of the robot pop in the origin synthetic fertility...
plyaing with a lot of mods so not sure if its just your or a mod conflict, later will test out if its just yours the issue...

@chernobyl I do generally prefer giving more choice to the user, so I could consider reducing the restriction on full military service for a xenophobe's primary robot species. I could easily just make the AI's weight zero in those cases so it doesn't mess with the AI's tendencies.

The citizenship issue may have farther-reaching undesirable consequences on things like events and situations (the robot uprising, at least), since they rely on robots' full citizenship being determined by country policy, so I'd advise against a simple implementation like the one used in that mod.

Hi, would you like to make this feature from this mod in to yours? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2476151166

This mod has now been updated for version 3.12.4.
As you could probably expect, the Machine Age patch changes meant a major rework for this mod, so while I don't necessarily expect bugs, I have not had the opportunity to test every aspect thoroughly. If you do run into any issues that are mod-related, please let me know!

amazing mod, thank you!!

thanks... I tought I should use synthetic tree, my bad
Suzarr  [author] 7 Jan, 2024 @ 2:30pm
@chernobyl When you complete the cybernetic tree, yes. Bio pops should first assimilate into a cybernetic pop and remain there (depending on your default rights settings), as players may want to keep some cybernetic species in their empire. If you have the tree completed with this mod, you'll then be able to go back into that screen and assign a cybernetic or robot species to assimilation as well, and they will turn into your primary machine species.

""- Machine Intelligences and Synthetically-Ascended empires can now Assimilate robot pops into their primary species. Driven Assimilators can also further assimilate cyborgs all the way into full machines.""

maybe Im wrong but Can I as driven assimilator transform bio pop in to my main species? Beacuse seems I cant, I have the tradion and the first part unlocked, but doesnt seems to work...

Very informative. Thank you for your updates and attention to subscribers. Have a happy life.

I feel like I should clarify: I am referring to the in-game "agendas" on the government management screen. Basically, they shifted the tech prerequisites from the ascension perks themselves to the associated tradition trees. So now you can take the psionic ascension perk without having the psionic theory technology. That perk now unlocks an "agenda" which effectively allows you to guarantee that you will get the tech you need to proceed down the tradition tree. So in 3.9 it is no longer necessary to have a spiritualist empire if you want to take the psionic ascension.

@Suzarr
Oh... was that added to the agenda? Thank you for the detailed answer!
Have a nice day and a happy life!

@pingship I'm not 100% certain that I understand your question, but it sounds like you are referring to the restriction in vanilla in which empires with spiritualist ethics are not allowed to give robots full citizenship (for the purpose of preventing AI uprisings, for instance). I have not made any changes in this regard, although it is something I could consider modifying for non-fanatics. I would note though that in vanilla it is technically possible (but more difficult) to take the psionic ascension even without spiritualist ethics, especially now in 3.9 with the new added agendas, which would allow you to be psionic and have robot rights simultaneously.

I should also note that this mod is not currently compatible with the latest Stellaris release version. Hopefully I should have it updated for 3.9.3 in the next couple of weeks.

Is it possible to set robot human rights in psionic characteristics?
chornobyl 9 Oct, 2023 @ 5:46am
ok, thx
Suzarr  [author] 8 Oct, 2023 @ 4:50pm
@chernobyl For an individualist empire who takes the synth ascension, yes. The point there is that this mod gave similar functionality to machine intelligences. This was eventually added to the Stellaris official release in v3.6.0 alongside the ascension path overhauls, but this mod is older than that, despite only being uploaded to Steam for public use more recently. Some elements of the description may be somewhat redundant now, as a result. You can check the full change log for more details.

the 3) was already in the game (talking about synth ascended empires)
