I believe that's your unit card setting there is unit cards.
Which one is this mod actually for?
The names of the Regions and the City.
They are a mixture of ancient Greek, Latin, modern English and even modern Italian.
I suggest to the Author of the Mod to consult the various Mods that use "ancient" names (like EB I and EB II) such as Mundus Magnus and some even RIS and correct where the Names are too "modern".
This is also a way to make a MOD more suggestive.
Take the Britons out of Belgica, it's a "fantasy" of the original Rome, but it's absurd from a historical point of view.
Another thing, why keep the Roman faction of the Senate, Rome was firmly united (even if divided internally by civil wars or opposing factions) but on the outside it was Rome and that's it, so two factions of Romans are incomprehensible.
Some small corrections on the names of the Factions and perhaps the use of the original names for Factions and Units, in the style of EB and it would be an interesting MOD to play, alternative to the Danymod with Mundus Magnus which works very well but which, unfortunately, is very "discovered" ” like Factions and Units in the East , as well as missing key factions like Epirus and Bactria.
As already written by others, Sparta is a super Faction while in "History" at that time it was a small city of one of the many Leagues of Greek cities.
The idea of using Mod Israel to introduce the Kingdom of Israel Faction is interesting, in fact that was the period in which that Kingdom was being born which lasted until the early years AD.
Also if possible, to add regular archers, nothing too elite, like Archer Warband, transfering archer warband would be very cool, as with slingers I can't really shoot on top of walls.. I do not think i am the only one who realizes that vanilla units for Iberians are always archerLESS, even in Rome 2.
So basically i just ask for transfer of cool units to the Iberian sh**y roster, all other barbarians have a good roster, for once I would like to play with an interesting Iberians. To show some love.I know its not 100% accurate but that makes it a bit interesting
Thx for your attention, hope we can discuss more about it, cheers.
I often play with the Iberians, and I couldn't help notice that its roster is kinda poor even with these 4 new units I don't feel the wrath of the Iberians.
I would like to ask you if you could add or replace the new units of the Iberians to these units
-Berserkers (Yeah, all the barbarians have it except the Iberians)
-Barbarian Legionnaries (Same reason)
-Swordsmen (to make the Iberians less Carthaginian-ISH or Hastati-ISH looking and more barbarians and SEXY, with or without warpaint on their torso. Warpaint is very cool.
For balancing, its ok to remove one or several newly added units of the mod
Just trying Judea, the names are cool but the culture name and rosters seem a bit inaccurate (I know Judea shouldnt be an independent faction) but it could be more Hellenistic rather than egyptian.I think with more love, it could be of the the top 10 best mods that could appear in Gudea total war s'top lists in Youtube mods to try
For example Ithaca, Rhodos, Syracuse etc.
Two thiengs I want to leave here as feedback (No other mods installed)
1. I dont know if I do somethien wrong but I absolutely drown in money as rome on VH difficulty.
Either increase the costs for units/buildings, upkeep or reduce the tax income somehow. In combination with the slow pop gain, you cant spent it on new buldings either
2. I get this mod aims to make it harder to grow cities and decide between units and pop gain but even without units being drafted, it takes forever or even goes down after a while due to squalor which forces you to build units in rome where the pop ghain is very high and move them to other cities.
Maybe add a factor that temporarily slow the pop gain after a unit is build to keep this decision up instead. Or it might be the goal to kinda reflect sending settlers from rome to new cities?
However I realized that the Iberian factions are always at a disadvantage.
They have no archers and no berserkers (which all other European barbarians have)
At least add a chosen warband and berserker version to the Iberian factions. I don't feel using Cantabrian cav, but solid infantry.
I know about ancient Iberian/Celtiberian warfare. I can help you
