in latest version the blue force from the road blocks are attacking the enemy at the Hospital at the start. If this makes it too easy & can fix that let me know? :steamhappy:

Sitrep; The Massi addons seem to have become out of favour the last 6 months (Pity as they have a good selection of mid east & Africa units) And Massi himself seems to have moved on to other things... So as most people have CUP & RHS I will be updating my JGaz missions to those addons only. Save a copy of previous missions if you wish to continue using the Massi addon versions

Was a bit buggy after Apex simplified it a little now has stun grenades, to disable enemy & not kill hostages.

Since last patch the VAS Ammo box (no longer updated by maker) you have to take sights etc then fit from gear you can no longer do it from thr VAS box.

Handy hint A. dont go near the hostages untill you have cleared the roof. or Squad leader to tell hostages to halt, then go get the truck order hostages from ground floor to get in the back. B use the littlebird to pick up the roof hostage land next to him & he will get in. fly him back take others back in truck & job done. it has been finished a number of times.......

Do NOT take hostages up to the roof! at the moment AI are not aware of hight is a Bis problem they will often walk off the edge of buildings.

Fun mission, only issue is me and my friend cant end it as we went up the stairs and then one ran off the stairs and died lol then the other jumped off the landing pad on the roof xD when we tell the ai to go somewhere they dont seem to follow orders, dam stupid AI.

Re tested on own PC & Dedicated & all works fine.

It is a Multiplayer mission not SP ( can still be played with only one person)

If you try to play it in the editor it will fail as there is scripting to fail mission if everyone is down, so that its not stuck on revive countdown.

Only suggestion is delete it & get it new, you may have a corrupt download? Checked with other players & they have no prob. You also may need to verify your A3 game on steam.

Other wise cant help you dude......

Checked the mission & its working fine. If all players are injured or dead the mission will end. It is possible that you may have been shot as you arrive in the Helicopter, sometimes there are enemy on the hospital roof who fire at the Helo.
Or if you are using some sort of addon/cheat where you cant be seen, the mission will end, as it needs to see at least one alive player, or it will end...... Working when tested on PC & Dedicated. so ??

Attempt to fix the hostage count script (broken by last patch) in end trigger, now needs ALL alive hostages back at HQ start point.. It should not require any dead, just at least 2 alive. Please post if not working. Did when I tested.......

I get really pissed off when after spending hours making & testing a mission a Bis updat patch screws it up! The mimum of two hostages now wont work it has to be all, so if one gets killed the mission cant end. will have to find a fix FFS

He starts where I first put playable units on the map when making the mission, and I always try to put them near to the start point . The only exception is if they are scripted into a vehicle/Helo they will start in that until it is deleted, then it is again as before near the mission start. So the only time players will start out of area is if they arive after DZ & before vehicle/Helo deletion. If that happens just go out wait one & come in again.

JGaz, we DON'T like respawn and DON'T play respawn as a policy. my question was technical, not a request for respawn. I'll try to rephrase - if a guy disconnects, and tries to rejoin, if there's no AI, where will he start?

here is NO respawn in my missions only revive if you are lucky.

To get back in a player would have to disconnect and start as a new JIP if there are any slots left.

Respawn can not be hardcore as it wont matter if you get killed. So why play it for real and be as carefull as you would be in real life, if you can respawn....

The Mission Stonefish did originally have JIP blocked as the equipment players started with was affected when someone JIPed in (is a known Bis bug)
That has been fixed as in; you start with default & have to take rebreather, mask, & survival uniform in the Helicopter run in.

It's not about hardcore, we see ourselves as hardcore as it can get. It's just to allow people who disconnect to get back to the game where they left it.
How does your system work? Have you set respawn points for JIP? Multiple points for each mission? Or just one?

Disabling AI will NOT prevent JIP while there are still slots left. And I place the players where they can join others already in the game. Repeat players CAN JIP if there are slots remaining.

ALL missions I make (A2 & A3) for LoL do, not allow players to be instantly reborn as the next AI, that's just too easy, & encourages Rambos. Sorry but missions will remain; play it for real hard core, with AI off.
