If the War Paint were to have bullet holes, I feel it would make sense as something that appears as the wear decreases, rather than it being on the War Paint at all times.

I don't think the bullet idea is fitting unless if you were to apply it to the other textures, as it makes no sense as to why someone shot that part of the gun specifically so many times and not the other parts a single time. I also am not a fan of the darker brown, it looks a little flat but I honestly just think the light brown goes way better with the metal textures.

the bullet hole texture makes this look like swiss cheese, the 2 shades of brown are extremely flat also.
