I have finished creating the final version of this war paint. I have learned from my mistakes and have made significant adjustments to the textures which are described in greater detail in the Change Notes tab on the new page.

a final third version is in the works that will remove the outlines of the team-colored metal texture, and rework the wood texture from scratch and get rid of those bad vibes once and for all, hopefully. i am being extra cautious and sourcing feedback from many different people to make sure that no mistakes persist into this last upload, because frankly, i dont want to flood the workshop any more than 3 times and im sure that most people would appreciate that.

Steam workshop lacks detailed feedback honestly and if its given its usually in the rudest least helpful way possible. I do agree with Feesh though, planks might help a bit with it. The texture work on the stone and bricks are surprisingly good though for something ive seen from someone who seemingly uploaded their first skin lol.

oh yes thank you, actually great feedback! i have been thinking that the war paint in general has looked off to me and ive been uncomfortable about it all day. now i know that the brick is fine as it is and the wood and tile textures need an update of some kind. i wouldnt know where to start but now that somebody has said it i feel more confident in trying to change them now.

Honestly, the stone brick textures look great and the other brick looks a lot like something I'd see at the bottom of a pool, The woods are kind of bad though ngl, but the three are stylistically opposed and don't look great on a gun. That stone brick could make an excellent texture for a map though lol.

Really went all in on the tiles with this one. Waiting on a V3 that replaces the wood with planks.

You really didn't need to change the wood texture, the old one was better than this one.
