The crashing issue seems to be (temporarily) fixed when you install another workshop mod.

It seems to be crashing on startup. I have the correct game version and a connected Archipelago AHIT client running.

This only kind of worked for 30 minutes before it starting crashing the game on start-up no matter what I did. I put it down for a year to see if that would get fixed but nope. Real shame.

I tried to follow the instructions on the Archipelago website to get this set up, but the game regularly crashed midway through play (I was in the Vanessa's Manor level --- the first one I unlocked --- but elsewhere in Subcon Forest), and eventually the game kept crashing on start-up. I'd love to give this a try again sometime if it can be made more stable.

I might sound a bit dum asking this but. Is it possible to fix a save that broke when I migrated the older version for this?

Best damn mod in the workshop
Thank you so much Cookiecat, I've had more fun with this mod than I've had with Hat in YEARS
Works great too!

This works, just know that if archipelago is asking for slot name it means the name you set in archipelago, not the save.

To the comment just before: This still works as of the time writing this, just need to follow the instructions properly and install an older version of the game through the console.

is this still broken?

Just a heads-up, the 1.3.3 update on oct. 23 broke any ongoing act shuffle seeds as it's not backwards compatible with the previous versions of the rando, acts aren't shuffled at all and act completion does not unlock subsequent acts, as well as all time rifts failing to load. Confirmed it's not a client issue as with both 1.3 and the most recent client update I'm still seeing the same thing in-game, so it's definitely a workshop mod issue. And with no way to downpatch that, it's rendered an ongoing seed that me and a few friends were playing through uncompletable. Is it possible to implement backwards compatibility for this or are we just screwed?
