@MacinTrash, I believe I removed that particular requirement (the advanced research desk) and just never updated the mod description.

o just 1 thing, i did not have the advanced research desk researched, it was available to research but i had not done it yet AND i was able to do the long research to unlock all breakthroughs

Heh, thx, some scenarios have 1 in a 100 chance for a breakthrough on items you can buy or find. Quit frustrating 8)

Yep, it works totally fine if enabled mid-game.
