so much potential, but it doesnt work on any of the stock hwm models.

Almost unusable on stock HWM models, fingers just flip and contort.

the controls on Enhanced scouts (maxofs2d) fingers seem incorrect, any way to fix it?

Breaks when closing and reopening a session with this still loaded in it. Model is unattached to the rig, but when you use the Reattach Model utility, it removed the finger bones, but overall fixes the visuals. You need to remove the rig to regain control of the fingers unfortunately. Thus, killing all your keys. You would need a nasty workaround to get it to be a part of the workflow.

Why is there just one thing for all 5 fingers? I was hoping they'd be separate. Is there something I'm missing?

when i move the hand, all the fingers are bent weird. Any way to fix it?

Scouts fingers seem... Broken. They move very unnaturally and are needlessly hard to pose. Plus once I remove the rig to switch to another rig, the bones for the fingers are just. Gone.

Doc, fingers are getting like screwed when i'm using it on scout model and i just can't do them normally rigged as i want, fix it please.

I've been using this since it was put up and I've only had a very few models' fingers properly work. :(

Ah hah!, I used Gmad to extract a starkiller model from Garry's mod and have found a pelvis entry, will stick with this model for now and try to persevere, am a complete beginner with SFM and python but I just had to have a go lololo, enjoying learning from you, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. :)

Hi Doc, am watching your youtube tutorial on jury rigging a rig, I have a bunch of models I ported from Gmod but in the sdk model viewer the entries for Pelvis etc are nothing like in the vid, in fact, there is no pelvis entry. can you help plz.

So by those method, would we need to follow the same way as the fingers, but add it as for another part? I'm not too familiar with the IK script, quite well, yet.

@Nexus, Kind of... Chaining IKs has only worked on a few IK skeletons and even then not very well. modifying this script to work with extra hands is only moderately annoying.

Would it be possible to make a script that would correspond with extra arms, or perhaps cloth, ex, like a tie or waist cloth?

Just tried the script. There's bones that dont do very much and are pretty much useless. The other bones don't provide good movement. It's super difficult to make anything realistic without the hands looking like jelly.

If this fixes lag, it will be good. But I'm slightly worried due to the non realism comments.

It really does look promising, but the big problem is that this makes fingers a billion times more difficult to pose.

Something I'd like to see is a rig script that allows me to pose fingers normally. When I apply the basic script, finger controls go away entirely, even if I disable the rig. Does anyone know what I have to do to bring them back? (Yes, I have tried restarting SFM).

Do you think you could make a script that allows you to lock models to fingers?
I find it hard to animate people reloading guns and stuff if I need to lock the bullets to the hand :l

There's a bit of a problem with trying to pose fingers around guns, especially using Miss Pauling and Miss Pauling's Derringer.

Might sound like a request, but I am curious.
Is it possible to make IK rigs for spider-like models such as http://www.cyborgmatt.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Dota2_BroodSplash.jpg and http://media.dota-trade.com/img/screenshots/l/n/nyx-assassins-dagon-yp5v539l4.jpg ? Would be really useful and according to finger's rig, it actually tells that it is, but can this be done?

that is what i do, but the base of the finger on some models becomes wonky. could just be model incompatibility, though

@[fool] IF the finger is fully extended it can cause a glitch. You'll need to move then finger slightly closer to the hand to bend it.

question; when i bend the tip of the finger, the rest of the finger becomes wonky. is there a way around this? i try to manipulate the middle section, but doesn't seem to be helping.

I tried using this, and all it did was remove the ability for me to access the entire arms of my spy model. The model was having problems before, so I don't know if this script continued the problem, but this might be a bug you should know about.

That's just a Scout reskinned with a Don't Starve hair and a Phoenix Wright suit. Nobody has actually made an actual Phoenix Wright model set yet, although I wish that someone did; I'm working on a Phoenix Wright WIP trial to be used IN SFM.
