I too pefer making constructive criticism. even if its an item that i like or don't like, i will still be constructive about my criticism.
tldr; be nice, give people actual criticism and they might just maybe change
Tldr, giving in-depth criticism to most workshoppers that makes gimmicky wacky cosmetics is a waste of time, they don't give a single damn about criticism or about what fits the game.
1.) You can't just put random stuff on a mercs head and call it a hat. nobody likes those (good examples: train of thought, hat chocoalte, round-a-bout, helm helm, sir pumpkington)
2.) we already have alot of all-class hats, alot of people prefer single-class hats. you will be able to make hats that look better and fit a character more well. you are also able to make sets which people love
3.) a good hat is one that either 1) fits a character's personality 2) fits the time frame 3.) fits the games play style. this hat does none of those

your modeling skills are amazing. the close-q-cover is a nice hat, and im sure everybody would rather you make those type of hats than these. please do what the community will like
