:D
I was able to test it last night, and its fine. I just wanted to make sure because most mods that add a new block needed to be updated. I wasn't able to get on when I wrote that so, no worries now.
Thank you for this mod though! Fixes a lot of size issues for my ships now. ^-^ Can make them much more compact now.
It should not unless the CubeBlocks definition changed.
You can use the small-to-large rotor feature and connect small block rotors on large ships through a rotor, but other than that there is nothing you can do right now as a single "block type" can have only one seat and not more. Thus you can not have 2, 3, 4 or more seats for a single block at all.
I hope that clears the situation C:
Also there is no shame in telling someone that it doesnt work as intended, that is needed to actually fix a situation that needs it, simple as that.
Furthermore i have to give bad news. I am visiting my family right now and thus cant update as my laptop is super weak and cant run SE in order to fix the bugs properly.
That means that any bugfixing will have to wwait about 6 days.

Looks like i wont get SE earlier than tomorrow evening, sorry.
I know I can just places them spaced properly, but I can't force others on the server to, hence the request.
Because the model actually is aligned to the back, you can achieve that my giving 1 block room in front of the seat.
Can you make a version like that?
Also you can not make a multi person seat right now and thus there is no way to integrate a very compact seat for large blocks.
The only workaround is the small-to-large rotor feature with which you connect a large rotor base with a small rotor head and thus are able to build small blocks that are somewhat nicely connected to large blocks.
So sadly i am not the right person for such a mod request but i wish you good luck in getting such a model done and ingame :)
You can have multiple seats per block aswell as make them "triggerable" but the astronaut still takes place at just one of them and always that one seat.
So the games engine is not ready for multi-seat blocks yet. As sad as it is.
We had several versions ready, 3 seats in a row at the back, 2x 3 seats back to back in the middle and 2x 3 seats facing one direction while the ones behind are higher than the other. But yeah, none of them worked like intended so they are on halt until it works better.
As workaround for stations you can use the small-to-large rotor trick as seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zWyZfhFjrE
I hope that helps :)
That is for small ships, only.
@Sint-Mrten073
What do you mean with "line out right"? The seats are 2 blocks wide instead of 3, they are also 2 blocks deep instead of 3. And for both axis they are exactly in the middle of the used volume.
Or do you mean that you want a seat that is 3 blocks wide again so that your character sits exactly above a block and not between two blocks of the placed grid below the seat?
If so, then i will add it soon :)

The only possible workaround i see here are either multi-seat blocks (not sure if that is even possible right now) and the use of small-to-large rotor workarounds to connect small block structures to large block ones

if possable of course
