This was originally made using hammer logic (since the A1 is from 2022, before Vscript was added) and got converted to Vscript for this version. The Holiday Punch bug is unintentional.
Updates to this map aren't in the top priority for me for now unfortunately for various reasons, so no promises for fixes/improvements/balance changes

Love this map, it's the best tf2 Halloween map in a LONG while. BUT!!!

Why the HELL did you make heavy's mittens do damage instead of taunts when he has crits? literally cringe. I literally don't see any good reason you should've done so.

This map is one of the best SF ever added, I still stand by this, but is it planned to nerf the revive medic perk anytime soon? It's pretty broken compared to everything else, my suggestion is making it so the medic can only revive a maximum of 3 players

No matter what frills or gimmicks you duct-tape on, arena will always be a fundamentally bad gamemode. Maybe put your efforts toward something that plays better next time...

Haste only give you +10% movement speed, not +25%.

Revive by medic is too OP, and turning mini crits into crits is too gimmicky, other than that I like the perks. And if the revive by medic was made so that it only last one round the gamemode would be much better

a stalemate causes a 6th round to be added to the map which never starts and no perks can be selected when the round is supposed to start not even kill binding will fix it since you instantly respawn (also if you are the only person on one team you just never respawn and the game still doesnt end)

Quite possibly the worst map in scream fortress 15. Arena mode is by far the worst gamemode in TF2, why make a map with that gamemode? Bots just flood the lobby and nobody can get a single point on their contracts. Atrocious.

This map has genuinely been the most fun I've had playing TF2 in a while. Getting a whole lobby together to strategize a team comp, loadouts, and cool perk combos is both really satisfying and really rewarding as it adds a new, skill-testing layer of depth to the gameplay. I have had many games where we were 2 losses down but turned the game around 3 - 2 simply by playing smart with what we had and playing around their comp. The perks allow for so many cool gameplay changes and strategies that completely mix up how matches are played. Also, the aesthetic of the map and the custom made props for all the perks make the mode just feel that much more polished and special.

I think this whole idea is genius as the roguelike elements work really well in TF2, so I am PRAYING that you guys go further with this idea and make more maps and possibly more perks with this system in the future. Thanks for all of the amazing moments that this map has provided and keep up the good work!

@Samwiz1 I don't really understand what you mean, ghosts are a gimmick specific to Graveyard. I also don't understand what you mean "without spectating", since you do spectate when you're dead and the round hasn't yet ended. If not, that may be a bug, and I could look into it for the next patch

If there is a stalemate (SM_Admin Slay ALL) the map breaks and a final round won't finish/start. There should be provision for a stalemate just in case that happens.

Man, why don't you turn into a ghost when you die like with other Deathmatch maps? Killing players and letting them constantly respawn to without spectating is such a clunky way to do it. Interesting premise, messy implementation.

Honestly, given the thumbnail, the actual artpass of the map is rather drab. The gameplay of the map itself is pretty good but the look of it just isn't really there for me, feels pretty generic in a weird sense. I wish there were something more whispy about the look, y'know?

This is a good map, I have a rating system and i'd like to share it
1. aesthetic
I give it a 10/10. It feels like an actual scream fortress map, its not overly done with wacky festive things and is nice
2: contract capability
I give it a 10/10 as well. like crasher, the uniqueness makes it so I can fly right through the missions. 10x easier with krit spells and such.
3. uniqueness
I give it a 8/10. reminded me of the day of the dead map already in game (odd ik) but the mechanic is completely new. it would be cool to test out how to counter other teams spells and how to make yours better
I haven't completed the scale but it gets a 28/30 on my incomplete scale. I like it. I hope to see it ingame this year!

I do worry about another map with a gimmick that so radically changes the gameplay, but it looks so good I'd definitely give it a try. It sounds like a lot of fun but a lot to remember all the different perks and synergies just to play one map, unlike something like Mannpower which is consistent across the whole gamemode. I'd also suggest Haste be renamed to avoid confusion with the Mannpower Powerup of the same name, but it might not matter that much. Very cool map though, I'm pretty optimistic it'll be fun and chaotic

Hope this gets added this year. Been seeing a lot of interesting maps recently for Scream Fortress. Some being cool reskins and others are just entirely new.

Yellow Dice, Yes it is! I made the original about a year ago, and Diva Dan asked to art pass it (with concept art from DJ). We missed the deadline for last Scream Fortress, but we're trying to get in for this one. I took the opportunity to update the gamemode from map logic to Vscript

Extremely cool idea, great use of custom assets, and a really nice looking map. I could see this being an entirely new gamemode with the level of effort put into this. Looking forward to playing on a server hosting this. Great work!
