This mod is great and it's almost impossible to remember playing without it. The central terminal saves you so much time in railroad construction. But what is hilarious is the naval academy. I feel it's -too- ridiculous. Ships gain a -ridiculous- amount of movement over ocean tiles. Combined with exploration/great lighthouse/england/treasure fleet mod it can make your ships be able to cross a huge map in just a few turns.
Still, I love it.

After the completion of the construction of the central terminal, it will be built in a city built by a unit called the "Central Terminal" and roads within the national territory will not be changed to railways.

no downloading via steam, is there direct link?
BrJason 20 Dec, 2016 @ 10:26am
Coming from a guy who plays a huge world and is what former games would describe as "an expansionist" the Central terminal brings a tear to my eye! But all of the National Wonders are great here - thanks!

Seems cool, and I like how it makes everything happen a lot faster, as it would in real life. One question, however: do these same things apply to AI civs? I don't want it to be OP for me, and give me too much of an advantage.

@Sherwood374 I think the Power company provides 2 Gold/Science/Production in its city.

As to "taking criticism", feel free to offer suggestions or even a kind of pathetic, psuedo-insightful comment as StigmaticFlame25 did. And I will repeat what I have been saying to users for years now:

If you don't like a mod, change it! It's really the only way to get the mod you want...

Hey man, every one needs a kick in the ass now and then, ha even me
framedarchitecture  [author] 1 Dec, 2014 @ 4:08pm
@StigmaticFlame25 You certainly read a lot into my responses! Thanks for the concrete suggestions -- much more useful than most I get.
CaptainElk206 1 Dec, 2014 @ 3:36pm
Dude, just take criticism. If someone gives you advice, take it in to consideration. Because there are a lot of mod makers out there yet people come to you because of your ideals. And this is my advice, maybe put Central Bank with Banking? Put the Hydroelectrics Power Company with Elctricity(because you unlock dams in the tech), Military Academy in Military Science or Combined Arms, and keep the Naval Academy in Navigation. Now you can be a man about this and take criticism or whine saying "oh poor pitiful me" because youre not muture enough to handle this.

@Balancetraveller Seems I just cannot win here... further down the comments I'm called "inspired" for placing Central Bank on Sci Theory but an idiot for putting the Electric Company on Electronics. Now Central Bank on Sci Theory is a "sad design choice" ... I'll just repeat what I have said repeatedly in the past three years of providing free mods for the community: If you don't like a mod, change it! It's really the only way to get the mod you want...
Balancetraveller 3 Nov, 2014 @ 9:42am
I really like most of these ideas but it's littered with strange design choices sadly. For example why is Scientific Theory the prerequisite of Central Bank!? These two things are hardly related... Economics would certainly be a far fitting choice. And so on...
Sleep Paralysis Demon 15 Oct, 2014 @ 8:02pm
This mod is really neat I love it.
That's all.
For now.
Why isn't my enter posting it.
Wierd.
Ok who's doing this my enter always sends it.
OK fine I'll press the button.

JebusDied4Bacon 29 Aug, 2014 @ 5:04am
@framedarchitechture Just my own personal opinion. But I don't really do much in mods, since rerolling a mac.
Carolina Calling 28 Aug, 2014 @ 11:08am
Of course....
MigGui 27 Aug, 2014 @ 5:04pm
I'm sorry, I wanted to ask the 4 stats that it increases, I don't know why I wrote only science. every new building has its outputs defined, but this one doesn't, I think it would be nice to add in the civilopedia.

already subscribed anyways :)
framedarchitecture  [author] 27 Aug, 2014 @ 4:57pm
@MigGui I believe it's +2 science per city.
@Carolina Calling Feel free to change the mod in any way you like.
MigGui 27 Aug, 2014 @ 4:16pm
how much science does the hydroeletric power company provide?
Carolina Calling 27 Aug, 2014 @ 8:16am
If you say so...I personally don't see that putting HPC in Electronics is any more balanced than at Radio (or Refrigeration for that matter).

I do see that, overall, there has been an effort to make wonders in the tech tree historically apropos. I see a similar effort on your part with the tech prerequisites for your Central Terminal, and Military/Naval Academies. I thought your choice of Scientific Theory for Central Bank inspired. (Keynes might applaud.)

As an aside, while "the game" (meaning the people who create it) does/do occassionally ignore history, do we not sometimes groan or sigh or even cringe just a little bit when it's done? I know I've done it more than once over some mods' pre-reqs.
framedarchitecture  [author] 26 Aug, 2014 @ 9:47am
@Carolina Calling My aim is always game balance; I'm perfectly happy to ignore history, as in fact this game often does, in the service of fun. Best, FA
Carolina Calling 26 Aug, 2014 @ 9:26am
I feel the development of hydroelectric power and the electric grid is more a level of mechanical sophisication once the dynamo was created by by Michael Farady and explained mathamatically by James Clerk Maxwell. This technology is actually pre-radio in development. (Think Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison; not Albert Einstein and John von Neumann.) Electronics is a generation beyond radio conceptually and a generation and a half beyond the development of electrical transmission. Electronics is a technology were the concepts behind quantum mechanics are beginning to be applied! (You don't have to know how a vacuum tube/valve works to use one.)
Miath 24 Aug, 2014 @ 5:16pm
Ah, thanks mate, definitely getting this then. :D
framedarchitecture  [author] 24 Aug, 2014 @ 5:07pm
@TheAstronomicon Yes that mod you mentioned does not alter the tech tree - it adds a few techs to the end. An alteration would be, for example, deleting a technology, moving a technology, or creating a whole new tech tree.
Miath 24 Aug, 2014 @ 4:58pm
Define 'fundamentally alter' when it comes to the techtree because I run your mods with Beyond The Future and they work fine?
Shadowcat 24 Aug, 2014 @ 4:10pm
This seems, interesting, Definantly going to download for my next game round.
Also military academy will be OP(er) for me, I like to build all the military wonders/buildings and get the autocracy policy so I'm usually starting ground units with Morale, Drill 1, and like 60-75 exp so that 15 xp more will be changing things I bet.
framedarchitecture  [author] 22 Aug, 2014 @ 3:09pm
@JebusDied4Bacon Is this a suggestion that I change the current mod or an overarching opinion about how National Wonders ought to work? Also, I've decided I'm not going to add an Air Academy. I've been playing this game for years, and it just isn't something I'd like in the game. Feel free to mod your own addition, of course.
JebusDied4Bacon 22 Aug, 2014 @ 2:39pm
Air Academy seems logical despite the late game appearance. Prerequisite should be airport in all cities, just as you should probably add prerequisites to all of your National Wonders
framedarchitecture  [author] 22 Aug, 2014 @ 10:24am
@maciejlyoko If you want to contribute to this mod, add me as a steam friend, then we can discuss. Best, FA
Lyokoheros 22 Aug, 2014 @ 8:00am
Have You soemthing against creating polish translation of this mod by me? If no(I hope so) how can i add it to this mod?
framedarchitecture  [author] 21 Aug, 2014 @ 8:07am
@Storm Commander I hadn't considered an Air Academy; seems like air units come so late that your unit producing cities have all the xp buildings already. It's something to consider...
Storm Commander 20 Aug, 2014 @ 1:46pm
Great mod. Are you going to add an National Airforce Academy?
Type 5 Ho-Ri 20 Aug, 2014 @ 9:20am
Looks great. Love your mods architecture.
