Big mod's rewrite is coming, i made the same with Azazel's Rework

I think the holy shot and big horn tears are good enough, i know they're powerful but also they have a low chance to trigger at starting, i think mod's good enough and won't make any change regarding balance (maybe a mod's rewrite?), but i appreciate the feedback, thanks!!

The mod's pretty good, but the Apollyon's Duality mechanic while neat, is flawed, the beam of light and big horn effects are far too powerful to just give away for having 1 of each heart. If i were to balance it, i'd replace those effects with higher Angel/Devil chance(+12.5% capping at 6 of the respective heart). And if you still wanted to keep the previous effects, I'd put them here, after getting a 7th Soul/Black heart.

I also really like the Occular Rift idea it just fits really well.

I would also love to see when you are done with all the reworks you want to do to have a mod that combines them all so we don't have to download as much heh heh.

this is a really cool mod, Apollyon is one of my favorite characters so I am happy to see a really nice rework of them. one cool idea I remember seeing someone say in a lazymattman video was to have the void be able to swap between 2 modes one that voids items the second using any actives that have been voided, these would have separate charges. I would also love to see you do something for the tainted version too. Finally and most importantly I love the little art you have its very cute.

did not realize he could only get soul hearts, could you add an option so he can get normal red hearts? it would make more sense with his playstyle y'know

Hi, i like this mod, but two things:
Option to start with ONE red heart and then one soul and black heart
Option to replace Little Horn effect with Occular Rift since it thematically fits Apollyon equally well

it really doesn't work with multiplayer???
fuck, i wrote the whole mod to be compatible with co-op

In particoular, it seems that the second player doesn't get the effect if he selects Apollyon.

Only issue i found at this point is the fact that it doesn't work in multiplayer, for some reason..
Or has it been patched, i don't remeber.

Update: I decided to try this mod & Reworked Apollyon and Void together and it seems to be working fine, did you make it compatible or was it just fine all along?

There's a guy that made two mods, and plans to make more, with the RR suffix, wich is trying to add small fixes to things he thinks need one, one of such mods revolev around character specific gimmicks, and his version of Tainted Apollyon seems interesting, maybe you could look inta that to get some inspiration.

The Tainted Apollyon rework will be am update for this mod, I just need to think about how his rework would be

If you ever happen to do one of these mods for Tainted Apollyon, i would suggest to allow him Instead to have Red Heart Contaniers.

I find it astounding to see you already imagine what the error could be despite me giving little to no information regarding the error itself.

Ooh i see, it may be an issue with mod's save manager or built-in Library of Isaac

It said something about creating some kind of Error, it wasn't Red text, for say, but i specifically rememebr the Error Word being used.
Anyway, i'll be reinstalling this and see if it happens again ,im case i'll be re-posting here about it.

Do you remember if those console messages were error messages or simple messages like "text"??

I wouldn't want to say this, but it seems that in the console the Mod keeps showing up whenever something happens. I can't send the Error message as i do not have this mod installed it anymore, but i'm starting to think it created some issues, but i can't be sure.

i downloaded a void rework so i naw have a ReReworked apollyon

i am over exaggerating this by alot cause it was just 2 hours

you dont wanna know how stupidly long i played tboi:r to get beat mother with that stupid character

finally apollyon is actually worth playing

I hope this is the last update for this mod until the tainted apollyon rework, thank all of you (specially @MrBalloons) for reporting all bugs, now i'll try to fix azazel and in the future upload my new blue baby rework

mod works now, but since apollyon cant have red hearts, if you have dead cat, you just die over and over until you run out of lives

no se si hablas español pero espero si, solo quería decir que el mod es genial, convierte a un personaje algo aburrido de jugar en algo más "interactivo" por decirlo de alguna forma, eso es todo sigue así (espero con ansias el rework de T.apollyopn)
