Thanks for the mod mate,

it would be missing that the successor inherits the debt if the character dies.

This might be a good idea to scale the loan on monthly income, or at least rank tier ? Cause obviously an emperor earns (normally) more money then a count, and the decision could be somewhat useless as the time passes and prosperity roots.

Is it just generic "merchants", or does this refer to the Jewish population? Wondering if this could be two separate decisions, or augmented by having a Jewish courtier/modifier in your realm, basically as mentioned before, the CK2 decision

I've integrated a German localization into my mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355568022
[BRE] Humbert "Le Frog" 7 Nov, 2024 @ 3:18pm
this can't be making le merchants happy
j-wani 4 Nov, 2024 @ 3:16pm
Is this different from the 'Advanced Court Offices' mod you made previously?
Kaiser Waffle 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:11pm
Would be cool if this mod had more of the flavour of the CK2 version. I liked that you could get one over on the loan givers by expelling them in the last game but you would suffer a technology malus so you'd have more to think about when taking the loan or deciding to not pay it back.

[UPDATED]
- Fixed Trait descriptions.
PhazezGova 7 Jan, 2024 @ 2:06am
Your mods usually don't have a German localization, right?
peequi 23 Dec, 2023 @ 2:50pm
This feature still off for AI? If yes anyone know a mod that allows AI to borrow money as well.
peequi 23 Dec, 2023 @ 2:38pm
@Orphano perhaps we can easily change the mod to reflect a higher payback amount? It might be just one line somewhere, actually maybe another line or two for the decision and pop up window.

Have you considered making it sinful for Islamic rulers to take loans? Usury was strictly forbidden.
superninja76 15 Nov, 2023 @ 9:40pm
Love this!
I usually end up having to resort to switching characters to give myself gifts, lol. Having an in-game way to acquire extra capital, and have it be a decision with real gravity to it, is really neat. I hope you find ways to expand upon this mod; Dealing with the economy makes the game much more immersive and engaging.
OranguZen 15 Oct, 2023 @ 1:50pm
Love the mod but the interest rates are drastically lower than historical rates. It even beats most modern rates. I feel like this cheeses my game too much once I get a Steward lifestyle. An absolutely needed mod that I'd love to have a bit more historical accuracy to. Thanks!:coffee:
[BRE] Humbert "Le Frog" 18 Sep, 2023 @ 9:49am
worth it for the meme
Ketaros  [author] 18 Sep, 2023 @ 6:08am
Expel merchants from your Kingdom, and you get -5.0 Gold for 20 years? Cool?
[BRE] Humbert "Le Frog" 16 Sep, 2023 @ 12:48pm
you should add a decision to expel the merchants
AngryMutt77 14 Sep, 2023 @ 12:38pm

CK3 really turning into Eu4 XD (which is fine)
Cataphractal 12 Sep, 2023 @ 9:29am
Love your mods !
dgallagher4 10 Sep, 2023 @ 11:20am
Hey, it would be cool if you expanded this into a full-on banking system. There was a mod that did that, but it hasn't been updated since version 1.5.
Waffle Souls 10 Sep, 2023 @ 9:46am
@Ketaros Thank you :)
Ketaros  [author] 10 Sep, 2023 @ 9:04am
@Grandpalenin, let's say when your Liege is the one asking, there a very special condition. :)
@Waffle Sould, no, not right now, but working on it to keep balance even better.
Waffle Souls 10 Sep, 2023 @ 8:43am
Does the AI use this?
Grandpalenin 10 Sep, 2023 @ 6:19am
Now add ability to kick the moneylenders out of your kingdom :)
arenam 10 Sep, 2023 @ 12:49am
17% interest over 5 years? Damn, those moneylenders are very generous, in this era we'd rather get this interest rate on a yearly, if not monthly basis.
Ketaros  [author] 8 Sep, 2023 @ 5:04pm
No Paying in time will damage you in 150 Prestige and you will receive a trait of Past Due Lender wich hurts you with -4 Steward and +30% Stress until you pay the amount due.
Fillyshellz14 8 Sep, 2023 @ 1:34pm
hi great mod but what are the consequences of not paying on time. actual damaging impacts would be very nicely balanced and fun imo
Zorhan Mamdani 8 Sep, 2023 @ 7:38am
could you expand upon this mod more? Kinda like the Lombards in the Accursed Kings novel.
CaliBlueBear 7 Sep, 2023 @ 6:54pm
Every mod you make is gold!
