Well the only thing my mod changes are the ship files and spawns, so I don't think it can be affected by direct X, could be a particular ship I guess, maybe too big for direct X 9 to handle, try My Lesser Version and let me know if you have the same problem.

It only works for me in dx 11 but when I turn on dx 11 my graphics go crazy and start turni colors

Like DragonSkull, the Hurricane is killing my simspeed when the game is set to online. Whenever it spawns in, the simspeed drops to 0.5 or so. It is simply too big :/

Other than that kinda issue, it is a really fun mod

as a note in case others ask, i tried with the cargo ship speed mod after the cargo ship mod and it appears to work as intended.... could still be that it does'nt matter, but i've been told otherwise before...so cargo ship mods first and cargo ship speed mod after...as a side note, some cargo ship mods come preset with a slower travel speed for dedicated servers to help combat d-sync issues many people have.

the travel speed is set individually by ship as far as I know, there is a value for speed on each of the ships in the spawngroup.sbc, so it would have to go after, but I do not know if it would only affect the default cargo ships, perhaps if you linked me the mod you intend to use I could rip it apart and see what makes it tick >:) There may in fact be a different file all together that alters speed in which case it wouldn't matter.

been doing some reading and maybe i missed it in all the threads and mods, but when adding a cargo ship mod and a mod to regulate their speed either up or down... which mod goes first

Some ships like hurricane spawning nearby 10k of me is causing my simspeed drop from 1 to 0.5.
I'm sorry but i decided i wont use exploration ships that big that affects the gameplay.

Maybe is my computer. Anyway, nice design of the ships!

=/ i realy would love the mod on workshop youre ussing it thats why
+ i love the crafts but the project seemed to stall to a halt when i browse the web
only dates i find are from 2014 and the pics i found where back 11 months ago
the planes in this mod are very good and fun i like them.
i just dont realy know who the creator is.
its there no ather way to get it back on the workshop as a seperated part? by contacting the creator?

(i do like moar ships mod) but these from catchys cargo ships mod are more my feeling

Been loving this Workshop since day 1 you made it thanks! Easily top 3 of all time for me! It's very nice in survival because it forces people to attack more than just eachother. Sometimes enemies team up against the military ships for temporary alliances; which adds interesting twists.

Thanks for putting this together. There's a lot of cool ships in here I might never have seen without someone putting the effort in to round them up. Just started playing so being able to explore them as hostile ships trying to board them is a huge added bonus. It took me hours to fully take over the Hephaestus yesterday. But dat sense of accomplishment..

what you can try is making the map really small, that way they wont spawn way out or just keep drifting, I'm not sure if that bug stops them from despawning completely but hopefully as soon as they hit the map edge they should dissapear, Let me know how you go.

I think i found the problem. Its partly due to massive laggy ships like the hurricane but there also seems to be a problem with the latest version of space engineers that is preventing cargo ships from despawning.

Even without your mod installed after playing for just a few hours there are between 20 and 30 large ships in the world most of which are ether out of power or out of visual range. And trash removal dosnt seem to remove them. Last night i left the game running to see what would happen and in the morning the update lag was over 700 after removing all the junk dropped it back down to around 4.1

@(Orse) Sworn If you dont mind me asking what are your pc specs? Althogh far from the most powerfull computer out there i think my computer is pretty darn powerfull and my cpu never passes 60% so its not a problem with my proccessor power unless space engineers cant fully utalize an 8 core cpu.

Guess i will just have to try one of the other versions.

I had a massive performance hit as well, it was the Hurricane ship. All of the sudden several hours into the game everything went into super slow motion, I thought maybe my computer was struggling to keep up so I was about to remove the mod after going into creative and clearing some of them out.

That's when I saw the Hurricane ship name pop up. That thing is obscenely massive. The second I deleted it the game started running perfectly fine again. It's a cool ship and all, but with all the other ships flying around, plus whatever you've made, plus now near-infinite asteroids... it's a little much cumulatively. A little note in the description that this pack is for higher end computers would be nice, but based on the slightly condescending description for your Lesser pack it seems like you already have distinct opinion of anyone who has a computer anything less than yours.

Am i the only one seing a massive performance hit from this mod? I just started a new world and so far only a few ships have spawned but the simolation time has dropped to 0.5. When i removed them all it returned to 1.0. My pc is runing an AMD FX-8320 CPU and Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card with 8GB of ram so its not a problem with my pc.

I had a weird experience with a world I had changed from Moar to LSF. I did so because of a 'problem' with a turret causing crashes. I never had a crash, but I hadn't known that one of the ships with a small turret had already infiltrated my world.

Que a Traitor.

Quite some time after switching to LSF, then switching back to vanilla, I was tooling around and discovered, laying against a rock, one Traitor, slightly abused it seemed. I had never seen one before, let alone intact, so didn't know it was missing the large thruster, the right antenna, and the small Interior Turret.

I think the turret exploded, which took out several things. Recently, I took a look at an intact one (and make a blueprint) and rebuilt the ship to it's proper form.

Hurricane is massive and induce lag, but there is also another problem. When i finaly managed to get it my joy was ruined when i saw that the inside is FILLED with thruster next to each others. meaning if i try to stop the ship or move it it will basicly self destruct itself... this is far from being survival ready ( hurricane ship that is ). Could you please include a version without te huricane? I know the other guy asked but with the lag and the fact that the ship is not capturable i think it deserve a second thinking.
