I noted the reports of many bugs. Unfortunately, I've tried to rectify them on my end, and it always show to be ok and working, but somehow they don't get fixed on some players' end :/
Anyway, I've decided to move on and embark in creating more games, channeling my limited resource (as a solo developer) to new concepts and ideas. Of course, I have always learnt along the way through all the comments given by all of you players (of which I appreciate very, very much!) and will build on these experiences in my future creations.
My motivation in creating rooms is always about trying out something new - new way of designing the environment / details / game logics etc. It's really about experimenting, so behind the scenes I've had weeks of pulling my hair at glitches when making the game too XD I share your pain, but I'll always work on sharing the joy and fruit of a completed game experience with you!
The game and plot should work fine now!
We just completed the tea room and one of us clicked the stone. It started loading us into the stone of earth's world section, but never fully made it. Everything was white and we still had the tea bowls below us to interact with in the pure white screen instead of the new location.
We will probably try again this weekend since we did really enjoy it so far! Will keep you posted if we encounter that again!
That sounds like one of the common bugs that's reported, I faced it too occasionally when I trial play in Editor/Workshop mode. If you play it in "Single Player/ Multiplayer" mode, does the problem still persist?
If so, will have to restart the map, somehow that is a random (and annoying) bug that I'd appreciate if anyone can enlighten me how to fix!
@jaydubs thanks so much for your encouragement :D
@k8sparrot haha, will bear in mind about the lag and do it better next time ;) by the way, i always plug in my computer's charger when i play games, esp for the high ram-processing requirements one. Not sure if that will help you too!
By the way, this map is deliberately map for enjoying the sceneries. So if you don't want to attempt all the puzzles and simply wanna tour around, you can use the debug mode :) The method is stated here, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3034261795/3817419154273490879/
@Jantoregin actually the lamp can be removed after that.. but I noted players might be stuck after that. So I have moved one of the lanterns to the after lava part.
@Autumn Light sure, do send me on discord. I'll see if they are fixable - though everything works when I trialed the game ;)
@Zimrath good suggestion! I've added a hint board, hopefully it serves as a helpful reference for guess-and-check for players.
(For the record, from the video walkthrough, my actual single mistake that I couldn't find was neither of the above, but another thing that I didn't consider because I've found myself making the above mistakes much more often).
