I found the reason why it terminates. It's the other mod (expanded challenges Utility) it depends on, if you don't subscribe to that mod the game works properly. However without it this pack mod does nothing.

The mod no longer works for me now, every time i launch the game it terminates before i get to the menu screen. Unsubscribing this mods fixed it.

I'm still working on the update for this mod for v1.1.0.0 and only now that the update/DLC is out, am I able to actually start testing it.
Oh, I didn't realize the last rollback version is only 1.0.0.3 :( I wonder why that's still available and not v1.0.1.3

Kind of unfortunate that the closest version you can rollback to is 1.0.0.3 (which it isn't compatible with), then. Shame, this was a fun mod back in the day.

Hi, despite saying this is for version 1.1.0.0, on the compatibility branch for that version, I get a script error on attempting to load the game that says the identifier "weapons" isn't declared.

Hello everyone,

Just to inform you, I've been working on this mod a lot again to have it work with the coming update/DLC. The new version will be released as a separate mod and this mod will be kept as a legacy mod (assuming the current version will still be available for playing, as has been done with v1.0.0.3). This version will no longer be updated.
The new version will have quite a lot of changes and will require the DLC to play it.

Are you still having this issue? Verifying game files might help, otherwise a clean save file. Make sure you're playing on the current version of the game (so not Beta)

The Pet Alien change is now reverted, so it will count as a turret again, but more importantly should no longer be causing any crashes. Sorry about that.

I can confirm a crash with Pet Alien. It was when my extra consumables heal was 0, so maybe there is some division by zero issue in there or something like that?

There's a lot of crashes in the new release, the most recent one I've noticed seems to occur when the pet alien spawns.

Some good news, the next update is almost ready. It's mostly bugfixes, balance changes and translations. I'll leave a comment when the update is live and all the details will be in the change notes as usual.

I'll probably also be releasing another mod soon which addresses the map size issues/crashes when the map gets too small (for the endless Royal Battlers among us).

Are you still having issues with some of the achievements? All the achievements that require a win have to be completed in a non-endless run.

Fulfilling the requirement on non-endless runs should complete the achievements. If it doesn't, I cannot tell you why. Resetting the save file and verifying game files usually does the trick, but you could also consider this mod and unlock them that way.

Hi! I've loved this mod, but sadly there's a bug that doesn't unlock all of the new characters even after fulfilling the requirement. Any info about unlocking the rest would be appreciated. I've tried it on unlimited runs, and normal level 20 runs.

Generally my philosophy for any design is I try to give the character buffs/debuffs that fit its character, without trying to force the player to build a very specific way, with balance in mind. Also for the Pirate there wasn't just a single idea behind the design, but I think it worked out nicely haha

Hello, this mod has been really fun so far! I do have a quick question about one of the characters though. What exactly is the design philosophy behind the Pirate? I get the explosion scaling with weapons like Plank and Shredder, although starting with a pistol and being able to choose another pistol at the start as well seems to conflict with the explosion stuff. Starting with negative luck also contradicts their material gained per crate ability as well. Was the whole idea behind them to be having a strong start but a necessity to start scaling their econ and late-game payoff early? If so, that's actually really unique and had led to a really fun run, so cheers for that!

The Royal battler will probably be buffed with the next update. The Blind gunner recently got a buff and I think he's in a decent spot now.

The Alien uses the vanilla effect for the consumables, so I'm guessing it has something to do with how Rainbow chests are coded.
The only future plans I have for this mod is minor adjustments/fixes/balancing, no new content, sorry! I have been slowly working on another big pack though, but it's still a long way from completion. You could follow my workshop to see when I'm releasing something new. :)

hello, I love this mod! it's really creative and i honestly forget sometimes what items are vanilla vs mod. one sort of issue i've noticed though is that if you play with rainbow chests as Alien the chests you pick up don't count toward to consumable limit and it doesn't damage you but you still get the attack speed. but yeah overall i love this mod and i really hope to see new characters or items in the future!

Overall mod is okay. Most of characters are weak/ hard to play/ win with compared to original ones or other mods. Items and challenges are fun and well made. Half of the guns are good other half are weak.

Definitely one of the more balanced mods out there. These characters are actually taking several d5 runs before I get the win, even considering the power creep from having multiple mods like this. Some just straight up need buffs though, like royal battler and possibly blind gunner.
