So i figured the heros out cruel has its own trait, and most mods just reference the main cruel trait.
wh2_main_skill_innate_def_cruel
wh2_main_skill_innate_def_cruel_hero

I just copied over the lines to leaders of legend mod to make them the same as that is the only unique hero trait for the DE.

And now that i have a better understanding of skill link tables i am thinking of remaking the mod compatibility compilation sub-mod if I can free up the time. Right now I am just doing the factions I play but as i stream line the process it shouldn't take that long for most mods, the exception being things like legendary characters as its just a ton of lords.

Ahh yep, compatibility naming isn't my specialty but I know it's very particular about how that works. That sounds about right.

I don't think you need to mess with node links, as long as you're using existing nodes.

No idea on question 2, I haven't touched excel in many years.

I'd have to doublecheck the traits, but I typically do slightly different traits for lords and heroes (to minimize stuff like the new hochland scope issue lol). Dark Elves are about due for a trait update in general I think. I'm not sure exactly what's going on with hero sorcs, they seemed fine last time I played DE?

so i figured it out i had to name my compat and removal files !!!!!!whatever because load order in other mods..... took long than it should have...... As i thought i just had to name the packfile higher not the individual DB files.....

@Cryswar I am starting with all lores for dark elves,

question 1. do i need to update the character_skill_node_links_tables db for non-LL as i didn't see them broken out in leaders of legend main mod.

Question 2. if i do have to update that table can i use excel to join text for the child and parent keys.

observation 1. I noticed your enhanced traits were applying to supreme sorceress for def but not hero version on base game variants, but they were being applied to the lore of magic for DE mod hero versions.

I hope that makes sense

Ya i finally got RPFM to show the errors in some of my other mods, I am just happy i don't play dwarves much and nurgle at all, so must of my of my personal mods are not effected... I noticed the tier changes tweeking some mount mods how are you supposed make things work....

The wonders of new DLC lmao. CA laser targeted 2/3 of my Nurgle lords, Septic Claw doesn't even exist on IE anymore.

They also massively fucked up how skill modding works in general, though thankfully that won't affect what you're doing. Can't have skills above tier 60 anymore. Completely destroyed compatibility modding, I'm furious.

God I wish CA would unfuck that stuff, it's so dumb that we can't just have a universal compatibility mod anymore. I hate it beyond words. I had the compatibility for this mod built into LoL originally, before I realized CoC, and CA broke it before I even launched mod lmao.

But yeah, good luck! Feel free to hit me up if you get confused or run into issues, it should be a pretty easy fix.

thank you going to give it a try this weekend, been bouncing back and forth between this and expanded lord skills and I prefer this one, but since CA broke the compatch.... well tired of waiting figured i would try lol.

@Cryswar Would the DB tables in this com-patch be all i need to add your blue line skills to other lord mods? I am not the greatest modder but i think i could tackle that if its all i need for the few factions i play.

I get the following issue when I launch my game:

The following mods cause a crash to the Database:
crys_characters_compat.pack

The first invalid database record is
crys_valinwh2_main_skill_node_hef(i think its an f)_alastar_combat_3_1 in table
character_skill_node_set_items_tables
and pack file crys_character_compat.pack

the application will terminate now

anything I can do to fix it?

Aw, thank you, on both counts! I meant what I said, knowing people enjoy mods makes me happy too.

Please do let me know if there are any issues, anyone that isn't marked 'unfinished' in the main mod SHOULD get the skills.

@jolly Will try to get a fix out for Snagla in the coming day or so, got some family medical stuff to deal with so can't promise this coming day.

Yeah snagla Grobspits campaign doesnt really work (for me at least) all the others i've tried so far no issues anymore.

Definitely seems to have fixed my stability issues but i can't get it to show the right skills on snagla grobspit . Either way thank you so much for all of your mods and im sure it is probably something on my end not complaining at all.

You don't need to mess with mod order, it should sort itself automatically. In fact, you should almost never mess with mod order, doing so will BREAK mods.

I've been using this in testing and ongoing campaigns without issue. Just let propjoe use default mod order and it should be fine.

I havent really been able to get this to work, I have both mods subscribed and active with this mod above both of the others most (new) characters dont have the leaders of legends versions of skill trees or some have a mix and it often crashes looking at the skills. Probably something dumb on my end but i dunno havent been able to get it to work so far.
