ekm tf2 will automatically make the transition to any weapon/pose he was in before, so here it just so happened he was in t pose when he started the taunt.

yeah but if it returns to the primary weapon pose will make it much more smoother transition from taunt animation to standard animation
the buff banner taunt is a great example for really bad taunt transition because at the end of the taunt the soldier moves to the shotgun animation and quickly twitches and goes back to the banner animation

It will be able to work in any pose, as it just transitions from any root position.

make him return to his primary or melee weapons pose
