@DarthBrawn head to the installation of the mod and go to Defs/SongDefs/Songs_Gameplay.xml and delete lines 3 through 8.

could we get an option to leave the main menu music vanilla? Or at least add to the mod description that "this mod replaces the main menu music"

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

I'm not sure if Firefly is significantly remastering the soundtrack for Stronghold: Definitive but if they do I will probably update this.

@Chryselephantine This mod doesn't remove the vanilla soundtrack. You need a separate mod to do that. This just adds to the game's current mix.

It only seems to work in the main menu. Does it work during the game? It still plays vanilla music
