@Sad Cat Yes! I know the small ore detector has a smaller range, but I still used a small because of space.

@Dalten Thank you! The RUST V2 gunboat was the ship that made me think about small large grids!

@Church There is a subgrid on the hinge that holds the connector, antenna, ore detector, and some other small things. This is so that the connector and cargo can be connected without many pipes that do not fit.

What part of this is the subgrid? I want to use this in survival but was curious what I'll need to manually replace

so cute and S M O L. i love compact large grid designs like RUST V2 gunboat

I play in survival and projectors don't do multi-grid blueprints. They will only project the largest grid in a blueprint. I didn't know that you had a small grid attached to this. But now that you bring this up, using subgrids to put small blocks like antenna to save space is a great idea.

Only thing though, if you aren't aware, small grid and large grid Ore Detectors function differently. Small grid Ore Detector only has a max range of 50 while large grid is 150.

@Sad Cat Thank you! I've added a small ore detector close to the antenna. As for the tower, I think I'll publish some of the props I've used for thumbnails, tower included!

I thought this was a small grid ship at first. I love this design. Its compact, aesthetically pleasing, can be used for both scouting and establishing other bases, and if you slap an ore detector on it (opposite side of the searchlight is a great spot for it) you can use it to sniff out the deeper layer ores no problem.

I do have a question. Would it be possible for you to upload the tower seen in the background of the first screenshot? It looks like it would make an amazing radio tower and I'd love to build it in my game. I'd love to see how its constructed.

@chiefenderman Thank you!

@Patrick :P I was going to put proper passenger seats but the ladders looked better and blended in with the scaffold ladder.

@Parker Posey's Mouth Thank you!
