I haven't done any custom coding on this mod's side, so I honestly have no idea what's causing it. Its highly likely to be mod conflicts that's causing it.
I know its kind of stupid, but the engine also needs to be running in order to charge the "fuel tank/battery". SmashPhil told me its due to a performance saving implements he made, making the tank unable to charge without starting the engine.
Which is why you need to put a driver and have the tank(s) running. I usually put 100 chemfuel in it to start up.
Common problems that prevent it from charging is:
1. You don't have batteries on your power grid.
2. Your batteries dont have enough stored energy.
3. It requires a bit of chemfuel in order to start the engine before it can charge.
Please do tell me of any problems
I'll try to do ASAP, currently swamped with XML hell on BF2142 Mod and HELLDIVERS mod
@Perpetually Vexed
Sadly, I can't do it, afaik they(vehicles) can't be minifiable
... and I just remember that I had to tweak something in this mod too.... AAAAA
