I added a new picture above, in the game options -> Mods tab you can rebind controls by changing "Main Keyboard Player" buttons

Yes, it could be used to play online through parsec. As a matter of fact people can already do that assuming others can join in with their own controllers, but with this mod you can join others with your keyboard as well, although the host will have to rebind the buttons for additional players.

So could this mod, in theory, be used alongside something like parsec to basically enable online multiplayer where other people can just be added and use their keyboard to play? Or is it purely intended for local/LAN Play?

In mod update 1.1.5 I added additional clickable buttons in the mod options menu. Try pressing the "Add new keyboard player" button at the end of the list and check the exhibition mode, it should add a new keyboard player :)

The mod still works for me. Which buttons exactly are you trying to rebind? For example, the very first option "AddPlayer Button" will add a keyboard player when pressed in the main menu.

Either one, I can't get this specific mod to work for some reason. Tried rebinding the join button, tried reinstalling, nothing works :(

Are you talking about adding a second keyboard player, or joining an AI only match in progress? For the first one, press the numpad plus button while in the main menu and the second keyboard should show up in exhibition (like the pic above). If you don't have numpad buttons on your keyboard, you can rebind it in the mod options (assuming you also have WECCL). For the second (joining AI match), you will probably first need to add a key bind to the "Join Button (Main Keyboard Player)".

Doesn't seem to work sadly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, can't get joining to work.

You may have saw my initial post, I deleted it after not realizing in the bottom that there was a 'Main Player', my mistake. Changed it to glorifying this mod.

What do you mean by that? If you use this to rebind the buttons, they will work in any mode. Just make sure to change the "Main Keyboard Player'" controls

If you have WECCL you can go to the Mods tab in game options and change the controls through the menu there.

hey! i cannot change the controls in the file. it keeps going to the original every time i open the game, and it doesn't work when i change the controls with the game open.

The one in the video where wrestlers talk about my mod? It it just for the video and not part of the mod

@Hades I updated the mod to 1.1.2, steam should update it automatically. I added support for rebinding to mouse buttons, Mouse0 should be left mouse button, Mouse1 should be right mouse button, Mouse2 should be middle mouse button, Mouse3 Mouse4 Mouse5 Mouse6 - additional buttons on your mouse (I don't have MMO mouse so you will have to check yourself which buttons are which)

@Hades Not at the moment, but it seems that it should support up to 7 buttons on mouse. I'll check it tomorrow if they actually work and if they do I will update the mod.

Can you bind the mouse buttons? If so, I can't manage to find the name for it

@Haunted Tiddy Goth GF The mod config files can be found by going to the game directory -> BepInEx -> config , you can open them in the Notepad. Note that you need to launch the game with the mod at least once for it to generate the config file.

This mod is a god-sent for anyone with the QWERTZ keyboard layout, default run key being in such an uncomfortable spot

But I just can't seem to locate the mod config file no matter where I look. Just installed the game today so i'm tapping entirely in the dark when it comes to modding.

Where would the default location for the config file be?

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for this! I've been trying to get Wrestling Empire to work on my arcade machine and this is one step closer.

My question is, do you think there would be a way to do this, but trick the game into thinking it was a joypad? Or get the game to respond in menus via the keyboard the way it does with a joypad?
