This mod is excellent. The aesthetics perfectly suit the game, much better than the default look.

Exactly what I was looking for. Playing Rome without purple ?? Heresy !

Best UI out there, thx

Updated for various button adjustments, recoloring of elements, drop shadows, and general tweaks.

@FERRDO sure, be creative :steamhappy:

Mod has been updated. Getting closer to completion. Plans to redo remaining Gothic-style buttons next.

There is definitely a way to do this, but I haven't done it yet! Still need to learn that bit.

Also, editing interface elements is a lot of work. It will be some time before I tackle other factions.

That being said, considering Roman building materials and techniques were very similar in this time period, I may only change some things to fit with the flavor of the East. But the original intent is to use for both halves of the Empire.

it works great!! Is there any chance to make it different/special for every faction ? (like DEI in Rome II)
FERRDO  [author] 7 Nov, 2023 @ 3:28am
@stathis this is intended to be used with both Roman factions. It modifies interface for the entire game, so it can be used with any faction one desires.
stathis.tslch 6 Nov, 2023 @ 11:49pm
Can I use it for ERE?

This is the best UI mod out there for Attila, hands down bar none.

Thank you! I wanted to keep the overall shape from vanilla, not square them off. Thought - What about a ruined mosaic floor?
WHIT3 BROTH3R 30 Oct, 2023 @ 1:22pm
love the bottom bars !

I really like this one. Replacing ornaments with greenery is such a cool idea.
Esoteric knowledge enjoyer 28 Sep, 2023 @ 11:48am
Well, I guess that funeral would be Rome's lmao.
BruceWayne 28 Sep, 2023 @ 7:22am
That red color is so dimmy and boring. I feel like I am in somebody's funeral... :(

Thanks again! Very glad you enjoy it and are getting use out of it.

Once I am done with the initial Roman UI, I will evaluate possibly creating other cultures.
BulletToothRudy 24 Sep, 2023 @ 11:15am
There are some other options but a lot of them are not working anymore. Grudges sands ui is broken, and a lot of other ui mods are not very legible since they use weird combo of background images and fonts. That's why I like your mod, it's clean, subtle and easy to read. I really appreciate it.
FERRDO  [author] 24 Sep, 2023 @ 6:28am
Glad you are enjoying it! I plan to replace most UI elements by the end of the project. So any buttons remaining with Gothic trefoils are the primary target now.

As for other cultures - I’ll reevaluate once this is complete. There are a few other options currently from some other talented modders fortunately.
BulletToothRudy 24 Sep, 2023 @ 4:48am
Great work, it adds a more roman flavour to the game. Do you plan to make ui skins for different cultures as well?
FERRDO  [author] 22 Sep, 2023 @ 4:16pm
Thanks for the note! I was thinking of making it all shades of red, like the original which is all gray. Maybe I will investigate this.

Hello, thanks for sharing your work with us. As my humble opinion, it would be better if you use the same red texture on the campaign map top bar you use on the general details top section.
