Congrats on beating the TUBER testing track! I'll take "questionable but flawless". Definitely quite a variety. Nothing really links then other than the names and the secret SPUDs. Thanks for playing and commenting...you amde my whole day!
Great series, enjoyed it a lot! Not too difficult but still required some thinking and occasional head scratching. Getting all the SPUDs was a nice bonus challenge. Hard to say what my favourite was, they all had something going for them in one way or another. TUBER VII: Light Barrier stood out most for me but also felt like the least 'Portal' one of the bunch.
Even if you solved a few unintended, I am so happy you enjoyed them! Congrats on getting all the SPUDs!
Thanks for playing the series!
Accidentally tractor beamed the disk into the fizzler blocking the entrance somehow. Definitely the most entertaining way for that to go.
Good series.
Congrats on completing the TUBER testing track!
These were all quite fun and I enjoyed the Easter eggs! Well done on all!
My brains are worn out, so I cheated my way thru the bonus.
That's a lot of taters. And liked the confetti!
I like to see all the elements in the puzzle at a glance, without moving too much...
Like your "Caddifly"... :)
Co-op; Of course :)
I didn't say "Obstacle course" puzzles are bad...
It just seems to be a common^ style among a lot of P2 puzzle designers...
Some puzzle designers develop past it;
While others may perfect their obstacle style...
Some obstacle styles produce challenging "Pitfall" puzzles...
Some players like the challenge to see if they can make it on their first try :)
I tend to like the safe, sit down and figure it out puzzles :)
Once I had a good taste of a safe, difficult, logical puzzle...
The "Obstacle Style" sort of fell away in the back ground...
I still like "Obstacle Style" puzzles, but I do favor the safe logical ones more :)
What puzzles did I miss?
Yes.
I did feel a puzzle trend change from the "obstacle course" style to more safe logical puzzles :)
I like this one...
Getting the disk out was tricky too...
I liked the red fizzer/fizzer mechanic...the way to shut off "red" is logical :)
I will conclude on the forum thread...
Congrats on finishing the TUBER series! Not all the cameras were removable. I hope you enjoyed your time with these maps (did you play the second entry "Blue Plate"?)
Bypassing the behind-the-scenes camera got me a bit stumped, but that Aha!-moment there was a wakeup kick that made me laugh out loud. Really satisfying bit there.
And the prize for the last secret was also something I haven't seen - a PotatOS that I can pick up and move around! OMG! And not just one! xDxDxD
Desintegrating one of them literally gave me chills.
