@mentallentil, they are not without their flaws, but I'm still proud of this bizarre set of maps. Thank you so much for checking them out! :p2cube:

Damn, I really liked the disc area in this one, and of course the fling from the funnel right back into it. Great collection, I had a blast using some bizarre but fascinating moves! :love_seagull:

@NLuziaf, well thank you for committing to the whole collection! Hope the bonus potatoes were fun!

Finally, I'm a certified Portal (You)Tuber :3

@Solinoxia,

Congrats on beating the TUBER testing track! I'll take "questionable but flawless". Definitely quite a variety. Nothing really links then other than the names and the secret SPUDs. Thanks for playing and commenting...you amde my whole day!
Solinoxia 5 May @ 10:37am
:D had me stumped for a bit. After getting the disc and the SPUDs I thought I knew how to proceed only to realize it required a different approach. That one move is slightly questionable but it works flawless, is pretty easy to execute and kinda fits with the more experimental nature of this map.

Great series, enjoyed it a lot! Not too difficult but still required some thinking and occasional head scratching. Getting all the SPUDs was a nice bonus challenge. Hard to say what my favourite was, they all had something going for them in one way or another. TUBER VII: Light Barrier stood out most for me but also felt like the least 'Portal' one of the bunch.

@SHOOD Thanks for playing and recording videos! :p2aperture:

@|SLAVE| [cf] thenewkid30,

Even if you solved a few unintended, I am so happy you enjoyed them! Congrats on getting all the SPUDs! :p2cube:
|SLAVE| [cf] thenewkid30 7 Jan @ 1:10am
Not only that, but I collected all the 10 collectibles in my first time playing these maps.
|SLAVE| [cf] thenewkid30 7 Jan @ 1:08am
Oh man, I enjoyed all these 10 puzzles, definitely mind-boggling, but doable. Well done!!!

@Spacesuit Spiff, I hope you still inserted the disk and got the potatoes!

Thanks for playing the series!
Spacesuit Spiff 22 Dec, 2024 @ 5:00pm
Cool setup, was expecting a bit more to the solution but can't get too crazy with homebrew gimmicks I guess.

Accidentally tractor beamed the disk into the fizzler blocking the entrance somehow. Definitely the most entertaining way for that to go.

Good series.

@Deathwish808, thanks!

Congrats on completing the TUBER testing track! :p2aperture:

These were all quite fun and I enjoyed the Easter eggs! Well done on all!

Well I'll be rummaging through your workshop entries off and on, so don't be surprised if you see my comments again. :p2chell:
E L Y T R O N  [author] 6 Nov, 2024 @ 12:40pm
@ Rooke, congratulations on beating TUBER! Thank you for sticking with it. I am glad you didn't find this last one unfair. It has been great looking forward to your comments every day. Going to miss that :p2cube:
Rooke 6 Nov, 2024 @ 12:22pm
That was such an unusual mechanic I had to watch the solution. Duh! Such an easy move, but I never would have thought that through on my own.
My brains are worn out, so I cheated my way thru the bonus. :steamfacepalm:
That's a lot of taters. And liked the confetti!
E L Y T R O N  [author] 20 Oct, 2024 @ 8:31pm
@v0rtex2002, congrats on reaching the end! Impressive you got the bonus...and the main mechanic is new and weird. Thank you for playing!
v0rtex2002 20 Oct, 2024 @ 8:28pm
Wicked tricky. I ended up giving up and watching your solution video. Dunno if I ever would have landed on that solution, but very clever, sir! I did manage the bonus on my own, though. :p2blue:
E L Y T R O N  [author] 5 Oct, 2024 @ 11:29pm
@kimist108, this one is amdittedly extra weird in a series of already questionable mechanics. COngrats on beating them all, THANK YOU for playing! Players like you are the reason i create stuff like this. You made my weekend :p2cube:
kimist108 5 Oct, 2024 @ 5:36pm
Oh my. You know people who do things over and over again with no success. They should realize that they should try something else. I got gel all over the place trying to do a fling. Finally tried something else that made sense after it worked. Had fun getting all those potatoes.
Spaceminnow 27 May, 2024 @ 10:54am
Just to add,
I like to see all the elements in the puzzle at a glance, without moving too much...
Like your "Caddifly"... :)
Spaceminnow 27 May, 2024 @ 10:51am
Oh ok...
Co-op; Of course :)

I didn't say "Obstacle course" puzzles are bad...

It just seems to be a common^ style among a lot of P2 puzzle designers...
Some puzzle designers develop past it;
While others may perfect their obstacle style...

Some obstacle styles produce challenging "Pitfall" puzzles...
Some players like the challenge to see if they can make it on their first try :)

I tend to like the safe, sit down and figure it out puzzles :)
Once I had a good taste of a safe, difficult, logical puzzle...
The "Obstacle Style" sort of fell away in the back ground...

I still like "Obstacle Style" puzzles, but I do favor the safe logical ones more :)
E L Y T R O N  [author] 27 May, 2024 @ 10:05am
Oh you didn't miss any single-player stuff. I only said "nearly" because of the co-op puzzle "C3" (pretty obstacle course-like anyway). I also have some unlisted stuff that is so bad I didn't want the general public to have access anymore. So you did all you could. I never asked you to be so thorough, so I appreciate your determination!
Spaceminnow 27 May, 2024 @ 9:49am
Nearly everything...?
What puzzles did I miss?
Yes.
I did feel a puzzle trend change from the "obstacle course" style to more safe logical puzzles :)
E L Y T R O N  [author] 27 May, 2024 @ 9:40am
@spaceminnow, well thank you for playing nearly everything on my workshop! In the past 3 days you have played through a decade of my stuff. I hope you saw general trend for improvement. Glad that Caddifly could make the cut for your favorites! Take care :p2blue::p2aperture::p2orange:
Spaceminnow 27 May, 2024 @ 9:10am
The end was very tricky for me...
I like this one...
Getting the disk out was tricky too...

I liked the red fizzer/fizzer mechanic...the way to shut off "red" is logical :)
I will conclude on the forum thread...

@Hovering Harry, thanks, I will check them out!

I did play blue plate.
E L Y T R O N  [author] 13 Apr, 2024 @ 7:03pm
@Hovering heavy,
Congrats on finishing the TUBER series! Not all the cameras were removable. I hope you enjoyed your time with these maps (did you play the second entry "Blue Plate"?)
Hovering Harry 13 Apr, 2024 @ 5:31pm
I managed to get conversion gel in unintended places but it was not useful. Well done on having conversion gel but no exploits, that is really difficult to do. I got the conversion gel in other places by placing 2 portals on the conversion gel surface then I got enough on the wall to place a portal and used the funnel to move it into the main part of the chamber. I figured out pretty quickly how to get into the end room, but it was fun nonetheless. Also I was not able to destroy the second camera in the end room, it just wouldn't let me place a portal there.
E L Y T R O N  [author] 24 Mar, 2024 @ 12:29pm
@| \_/ (), glad my last few tricks for the finale were entertaining! The end of an era, you finished the series. Congrats and THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!! :p2blue::p2aperture::p2orange:
| \_/ () 24 Mar, 2024 @ 11:12am
Another really good puzzle. I don't think I've seen such a camera mechanic. It plays really nice :)
Bypassing the behind-the-scenes camera got me a bit stumped, but that Aha!-moment there was a wakeup kick that made me laugh out loud. Really satisfying bit there.

And the prize for the last secret was also something I haven't seen - a PotatOS that I can pick up and move around! OMG! And not just one! xDxDxD

Desintegrating one of them
literally gave me chills.
E L Y T R O N  [author] 21 Jan, 2024 @ 9:33am
@Vik, thanks for playing the series! 9/10 liked ain't bad! :p2aperture:
◢ Vik ◣ 21 Jan, 2024 @ 8:32am
All maps done with potaoes, all exceptionally great maps except maybe for 9 which I wasn't a big fan of dexterity wise, I'd be pissed if there wasn't a quicksave function... 10/10 for the rest of them
E L Y T R O N  [author] 13 Jan, 2024 @ 12:52pm
@sandwhichfren, thank you for the kind words! It means a lot!
Outlander 13 Jan, 2024 @ 12:44pm
Well, I hope you make more. I like the side quest aspect of them. It kinda helps for when you're stuck on one puzzle you can kind of go off and do the other one and hope to think of a solution while you're at it. But I can imagine how much hard work that goes into making these. Solving a puzzle is one thing, but creating an interesting puzzle is an entirely different level.
E L Y T R O N  [author] 12 Jan, 2024 @ 10:31pm
@caerbannog, ah I see. I didnt see any other comments on maps 1-9 so I assumed. Did you play it all in one go? That's impressive. And you got all 10 bonus discs/potatoes ? Glad you liked it! :p2blue:
Caerbannog 12 Jan, 2024 @ 10:24pm
Of course not. Books get started on the first page and end on the last. And on that note where are the rest of this 50 map series?
E L Y T R O N  [author] 12 Jan, 2024 @ 9:51pm
@caerbannog...so did you start the series with the last map?
Caerbannog 12 Jan, 2024 @ 8:48pm
When life gives you potatoes, make a new Portal 2 map series.
Outlander 12 Jan, 2024 @ 6:23pm
Deleted my other comment because I think it could have been a spoiler.
Outlander 12 Jan, 2024 @ 6:23pm
That camera mechanic for the final move is ingenious. Honestly, To have thought that up and then implemented it blows my mind.
E L Y T R O N  [author] 12 Jan, 2024 @ 6:10pm
@sandwichfren, alright! Well done on completing the TUBER series! This one is weird but hopefully it was easy to pull off once you learned what needed to be done. Cheers :p2aperture:
jandlml 30 Dec, 2023 @ 4:36pm
no problem it was fun trying to figure a way
