IMO teamcolored taunt effects are neat, but don't really impact team recognition. Ex. adding a blu variant for my infernal ritual would be silly, since blue blood doesn't make a whole lot of sense conceptually.
That's literally my only gripe though lol. Everything else is dope af, the spell circle is awesome and the candles are rly well done (had something similar in mind for infernal ritual early on, actually). Still very nice regardless :)
The blue ver. is something I envisioned the effect with from the start, because blue fire/ghosts are eerie and cool IMO. But Valve doesn't typically accept blue vers. without a red ver., so I used orange as a complementary/team color. This also matches the blue and orange underworlds in TF2.
I did originally consider pairing the blue ver. with a red ver., and having orange be separate, but then I would risk shafting one of the other vers. to avoid having too many. I figured this would be the best compromise to cover the usual colors while keeping the core blue ver., even if it's only "combo-able" on RED. Ultimately, the effect is doing well with that decision but I'll continue listening for feedback.
Teamcolor just isn't necessary here imo. The blu variant is just gonna mess with people that want to combo this w/ other hat effects
I created this specifically with the blue variant in mind so ditching it is a no-go. Speaking of precedents, last year Marigold Ritual got in which was orange on RED and blue on BLU so I figured following that example would be fine. That being said I'm open to feedback so if people would rather have orange be standalone I will consider it.
