But dang will it hurt...'
Anyway. I like this item, it actually goes quite well with the Burly Beast, but it would be cool if someone managed to make a gloveless Medic cosmetic that adds some RED/BLUE elements for team-recognition, like mentioned, with armbands.
So I vote yes for this item, but, I do wish there was a style that it doesn't have his class emblems.
Very unnecessary in saying "I dont think". I know that at the front the gloves are important, but I do wonder how Spies don't have a problem in knowing the Medic from behind, specially if said Medic is using his Primary, covering most of gloves from the back. Never heard anyone stating problems when a Med is wearing a painted Scrap Pack either
Plus, like I mentioned, I don't think that modelling over the gloves as hands would look very good, it's just a "what if". Most items that shows his arms have to do the "rolled up sleeves" trick, so it doesn't clip. I dont think it would look good in this case
And finally, if an item creator managed to make an item where it replaces his gloves with just his hands, they still could add RED and BLUE elements somewhere else on the cosmetic, perhaps as armbands with the same colors as his default gloves. Something that the Heavy Lifter does. From the back, Heavy Lifter's only team-recognition is his arm bands and a little at the bottom.
I know that making his gloveless would be basically impossible since you'd need to model over the gloves and Medic would have really large hands.
Or maybe it could work... I have seen some "gloveless" cosmetics for Medic in the past. See "Red-Handed". Although that one has "rolled up sleeves" as a workaround for having to model over.
I was confused what it changed until i took a closer look at Medic's arms.
