Hm, I have a small issue. Clicking Papermap day/night cycle doesn't seem to be working. Anyway I can do it manually from the files? Thanks.

Sorry, just realised that sounds very demanding. It's just a fix that the error log suggests as the wording in your mod is apparently wrong according to the game and changing the words to fix it stop myself from having hundreds of repeating errors.

Sorry, I did not mean to offend you or demand a huge amount of work. I'd just suggest to add a line in the mod description "If you have a larger mod list and experience crashes during the first days of the game, there might be an incompatibility with this mod" or similar.
Unfortunately the crash logs and stack trace seem completely useless, none of the messages appear to be related in to the actual crash. If I have time, I might try to find out which exact combination of mods is responsible for the crash, but then again, I'm just fine with this mod deactivated...

Nothing I can do. Do you really expect me to test every single other mod in existence in random combinations to make sure they all work? If you make an issue on the github and post your full mod list with everything you have on and your full crash log I can take a look at it. More than likely there is a mod conflict with one of the shaders and another shader is trying to call a function that no longer exists because it got overriden. You can try playing around with the load order, make sure to put Enhanced Graphics last, but it could be possible depending on what mods you're using that you need to manually merge the shader files yourself.

I am also experiencing crashes with a larger modpack (VFM/VTM/Morgenroete/..) and this mod enabled, a few days into the game. With this mod disabled and everything else the same, there are no more crashes.
You might want to add a note about possible incompatibilities. This was a long trial and error search that took several hours ...

Hello, I come on behalf of Imperia Development ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3081133459 ), we'd like to include this mod for our multiplayer mod, as one of the graphical components (instead of Vibrant Water and No Clouds), and as such we would like to ask for permission :)
We'll of course be giving credit to you, and link to your mod in the workshop description, as we do with the mods we pull in externally ;)
We'll take care of any merging, now or in the future, so you don't have to worry about that!

It looks like the person who made Simplified Graphics Overhaul that you have recommended in your description doesn't plan on updating it anymore. Is that going to be an issue when paired with your mod or doesn't effect anything??

Yeah setting the tonemap to "vanilla tonemap" will make it so it is just as bright as it is in base game.

You can toggle it with the settings for the mod, the settings for the day/night settings in game, or make a version that does that yourself :)

Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately I can't really fix that because it has to run the shader_debug console command to change the settings but i'll add a warning to the buttons to let players know.

The settings can be found in a new tab in the find provinces window, it is opened with the 'f' key or by pressing the button on the left side of the lens on the bottom of the hud. I realize it's a bit unintuitive having the settings in this window ideally I would put it on the topbar or something like that but paradox doesn't give a good way for mods to add settings in a way that doesn't entirely destroy compatibility with other mods so I put my settings in the find provinces window because no mod should ever have a reason to change this gui window.

I've added a settings menu so some features of the mod like the paper map getting darker, enabling clouds, and changing the tonemap can all be toggled in game.

You can use "shader_debug EG_FOW_ON" console command to turn clouds back on.
