to answer your question. first, in the scuffle plugin, you could modify the percentage chance of the SI dying after you escape so its a random chance every time. there were also other settings like a toggle for if you want to escape the SI holds but you stay incapacitated, or like a way to determine which SI you can struggle out of, etc.

however none of that is as pressing a matter as your health, @Sr.Caveira. please feel no pressure to rush as this game will be here when you get back

Don't worry about updating mods if your not feeling up for it. Your health is more important :)

@Kouga Thanks for the compliment! Well, actually, there is no way to show the native L4D2 2 progress bar here in workshop mods, only in SourcePawn mods, which is installed outside the workshop.

would like a version that takes longer to escape, it should work more as consession if a teamte cannot help you, as it is right now it makes teamplay irelevant, as you can often struggle free before a teamte even is able to help you. it takes about 3 seconds now but should take at least 3 times that i think. but its just a suggestion

what if instead of holdind the left button you had to rapidly press it? Or maybe "E" or "Space Bar"

fantastic mod! but theres honestly still so much room for improvement when it comes to features. I think porting the features from the scuffle plugin [forums.alliedmods.net] would be a good idea! its a configurable mod that functions as both Self-Revive and Struggle to Escape and has a lot of options. to name a few of the ones i like the most:

1) the progress bar shows up and can work with other hud mods
2) escaping successfully will stagger SI normally, but it has a chance to kill them the more times you get pounced
3) you can spam the scuffle button or hold it to progress the bar. and it will decay if you stop

and many more! if implemented this would be probably one of the most useful mods in the workshop, so i sincerely hope you do take it into consideration 🙏🙏!

can you make a command for how long you have to hold the shove button? I really like this addon but I think its too easy to escape, and could you make it so you can't escape when you're incapped? (Or you could add a QTE system, but that would take alot longer)

is there a way to decrease how much health is taken when you escape?

find it , it was a half english and chinesse addon that was doing a dmg multiplier but also blocking the hunter from getting off me when i do what your addons say to do to get the special infected who can grab me out of the way.

@mikecj9 Yeah, sure. Hope you find it soon. You can disable all your mods in the game and left only this one enabled and try to see if works and later enable one at a time and testing. You're welcome.

@mikecj9 Bro, I can't understand this issues. Here works properly with all Special Infecteds, you might have some conflicting mods. Sometimes it doesn't show that they have conflict in the game, but they do anyway. My game works perfectly all the mods I'm using, including the ones made by me.

does not work with the hunter , he always kill me when i play solo no bots with your addons, before it worked fine , can you fix it please ?

Yeah. If a common infected is blocking the smokers way while being grabbed you can't escape which is insanely annoying and should be fixed

You can get stuck on smokets if the CI block you.

it was some weird issues with keybinds, gotta say, love the mod now that it works
