Ah, the git is gone because I learned that GH only allows you to have one free account. I'll move this to GitLab eventually. In the meantime, it *probably* works with 1.6.

a simple but very nice mod, see that the git is removed, would like to see you / this mod come back for 1.6 but understand if your steping away.

@Олег: Haven't tried, but probably not. It should work with any pawn sensitive to sunlight specifically – sanguophages, phytokin, etc., – but the only _buildings_ it looks for are skylights.

Conceptually, I'm not sure that's something I'd want to add. Clerestory walls generally provide indirect sunlight. Should vampires really be sensitive to indirect sunlight?

Is it work with ReBuild glass walls what passes sunlight in interior areas?

@Zamaza: That's a solid idea, but it's way beyond the scope of this mod. I didn't even add any new content here, it's just a tiny compatibility patch. Consider pitching the idea to Dub, or commissioning it from someone. (I am not taking commissions.)

Dumb question - I would love a "darklight" filter skylight. Could be a bit pricer material wise or require special research. Any chance you could add that to this or make a separate one to tweak that?

The idea of pawns looking at a day time sun filtered to look differently amuses me,

Updated. I rebuilt it, but that probably wasn't necessary – the important change is that it is now marked as compatible with 1.5.

Yeah just haven't gotten around to updating the metadata. I'll do that next time I play.

This seems to be working in 1.5 as is

THANK. YOU. SIR. seriously, thank you.

@Luminous 815: I'm not familiar with that mod, but it's fairly likely. Biotech added a function for sanguophages to check whether they're exposed to sunlight, and that's what I patched. Most authors building sunlight sensitive things with Biotech are probably using that function.

Awesome mod! Do you think it would work with the sun requirement gene (or its own version of the photosynthesis gene) form the mod "Genes+"?

Thank you!

very awesome!

@The Blind One Figured out how to test it. Yes, it works with solar powered androids.

@The Blind One : I haven't really dug into that mod so I'm not sure how to test it. But a look at the code tells me it's relying on the method that I patched, so in theory it should work. If you try it, let me know.
The Blind One 2. okt. 2023 kl. 11:09
Does it also work for VRE androids who have the solar powered upgrade?
