i don't really know Blender though, since i never use it.
use Blender or famous 3D program like 3ds Max or Maya...
i'm always use 3ds Max for porting models to Source. i have high experience rigging model with bones, so its depends on if model is not too high polygons, or whatever is not complexly. i just had it before, its takes for weeks to done a model with over 10,000 polys.
sure why not? i'd like someone to help. and i am sure that porting ragdolls is harder than props models, so i just need a practice time to work on.
anyway, i will add your addon link to my addon page.
although i'm better to make a ragdolls.
