It has now been updated. Sorry for the wait.
Among the changes includes a change to the behavior of character bolstering/suppressing:
• Popularity gained/lost from bolstering/suppressing now decays/recovers over time
• The bolster/suppress interactions no longer automatically stop upon reaching +/-100 popularity gained/lost to accommodate this change
1.7 update is planned; I'm a one-man team with long working hours so it will take me weeks (maybe even a couple of months) to finish updating everything. Please be patient while I run down my to-do list.
Using this mod for the time being is NOT RECOMMENDED because some simple but very significant changes in 1.7 will most likely cause crashes when using this mod.
Perhaps nerfing agitator spawn rates in proportion to the amount of times the nation exiles them could help? That maybe even smells a little bit loreful. This might compensate for the vanilla spawn balance which has a natural depression of spawn rates from nations with full agitator slots. Nations with no available slots don't spawn new agitators (I think?), but in a run with this mod I think few major nations ever have a fully stocked agitator set.
imo, one small improvement could be to somehow reduce AI willingness/ability to Exile.
In my games with this mod I had a very noticeable increase in the "<agitator> exiled from <nation>" pop-up, & the agitators pool got so huge that even trying to load it post-1900 caused my game to freeze up every single time. Inspecting a few nations' traits also suggested this was the reason; it seems Vicky herself had recently fired like 8 agitators.
The original agitator pool design might also be at fault though... I mean, they don't let you filter much at all anyway, it was probably never meant to have that many candidates inside.
Game vers: 1.15.13.
DLCs: Colossus of the South, Dawn of Wonder, Voice of the People, Melodies of the Masses.
