Yes that's a known bug, fixed in the upcoming rework of TLOU Infected
If you want to remove the sounds, relaunch your world

Having an issue where the zombie sounds keep playing even after the zombie is dead, the screams and stuff. Its super annoying

Small question, I have a server on Linux, and I would like to add sound to the zombies. My question is, should each user on the server manually install this mod? Or by simply placing the mod within a file on my server, will it automatically appear for the rest of the users?
Because I can't seem to find the mentioned folder. I find the 'media' folder, but the folders 'banks' onwards are not there

No the mod doesn't need to be enabled, also there shouldn't even be a mod in your mod list I believe

Quick question, do we need to actually have the 'Screaming Zombies' mod enabled in the mod loader for it to work after we've switched the ZomboidSound.bank file?

At this point I'm basically the new dev of the mod and plan on rewriting the whole base mod because of the mess it is
I'm also starting to need a complete takeover of the mod to replace some sandbox options so it requires me to repost the whole mod

After playing around a lot with the mod, the emiters just stay in place until reload of the map (or maybe just the area/cell) when they get deleted with admin tools (remove all for example)
I was able to reproduce it happening with just killing zombies by having a huge amount of them in the same area and killing a lot of them one after the other
I have yet taken the time to look into it as I was rewriting the way the clicker hat was set on zombies to have various clothing and have it be more flexible
Also working on custom animations for clickers with someone

There's a bug with infected playing sounds after being killed, I will fix that in my patch

idk if someone have this problem, but ive got some issue, with sounds. so, basically, i can hear 3-4 type of infected, but its only 1 infected making all this sounds. i hope u get what i said and im sorry if my english sucks((

Hey don't use the mod enhanced experience, it is broken. If you want the features of it I made some mods that readd the compatibility between susceptible and spore zones and the bloater model to the last of us infected

Yeah it probably isn't too hard to fix in fact. If the mod ever goes down and becomes unplayable I might look into it, tinker a bit with it because TLOU is my way of playing PZ now. I just don't know much about modding but I do know how to code, and since LUA is close to Python I should be able to understand things fairly ok unless there are complicated stuff coded in the mods that are conflicting

Just don't activate the bloater skin model from that other mod and everything should work

I mean the mod worked ? The issue was mostly an issue with that other The Last of Us addon for your main mod which you can't really fix anyway by yourself

@Monkey Drenindok In fact he could just use an older version of the mod that doesn't have the changes to the sound that makes this mod work, upload a second version that doesn't have said changes that would work with your mod, and then you would have the orginal version that has them that doesn't work with your mod if he still has it that is and it would fix it, that would be the quickest easiest fix

Hey. Unfortunately I don't have much time to fix my compatibility problem. I think this would be solved if you would incorporate the bloater skin in your own TLOU Infected mod, so I won't have to override stuff. Feel free to do so if that means improving the experience.

Yeah I saw his comments, he doesn't give a fuck anymore it seems like. Half of his mod depends on TLOU Infected so if he ever wants it to work, he has to remove the dependency thing

I'm sorry that happen to you feel your pain, indeed, there's defiantly something weird going on with that mod in general with how it interacts with this one, that being said there are parts of this mod where the zombies can have a delay at first when they play sounds, so if you run into a house quickly they might not have time to trigger
