How can i make my pawns into space marines to get this all working? I chose the Adeptus Astartes meme and its saying my pawns must be space marines to get the roles.

Since you folks have experience in making mods for Ideology AND Warhammer related stuff, Could you potentially make an Ideology mod for Warhammer Fantasy, especially one that is compatible with Rimhammer?

Rimpy states Biotech is required for this mod. Biotech is not listed as required here. Is Biotech required or can I ignore Rimpy?

Ive no clue about the moral guide thing, i can look into it at some point.

@Cringe Shaymin it because these roles are all space marine roles, so in lore only space marines hold these positions

@aWoland I've made it so the custodes and primarchs can hold the roles aswell now, it was not inteded for them not to be able (For this to work you need to resub to this mod and the genes mod)

This mod is great, but there are a few issues. First, it feels weird that if I upgrade my pawn to custodes, they can no longer be, for example, a champion as they are no longer a space marine. I guess it’s lore accurate but it feels weird to have the resources to upgrade my techmarine to custodes but not doing it because I want the production buff.

Second, as others have mentioned, needing to have both a moral guide and a chaplain. Only one should be necessary.

Third, the buff from techmarine is so very, very good. Having high crafting means you basically only get masterwork/legendary. These mods are not very balanced in general so it’s not a big deal but +1 quality is probably good enough.

Is there a reason all of the special roles require a space marine? I'm trying to do a tribal start chaos cult and I don't want the constant mood debuff of unfulfilled roles until I can somehow randomly get a space marine.

Hello, when I choose the four memes of Human primacy, Adeptus Astartes, Proselytizer, and Collectivist, I found that Corpses—Don't care is failed to take effect correctly. Is this a bug?

Resub to mutations, they were updated at the same time, steam might not have update your mutation mod, ideology should be after mutations

Hey man. Just wanted to let you know, that you seem to have created a dependency loop in RimPy with the latest Update. Affects Ideology and Mutations. So yeah. Still love that mod though. For the Emporer! :D

Hello, just came to say that the undivided meme doesn't give Pain: Idealized despite saying it does. Unsure if this extends to any of the others, just noticed it while playing.

It might also just be a bug, I have a little over 300 mods right now, but you should probably check it on your end.

Curse you, the new update means I have to many jobs. The Emperor may protect, but if not having each role gives a debuff, then he won't be able to protect my sanity. All in all still good though :steamthumbsup:

@Shane: The Imperium wastes corpses all the time, they're called the Imperial Guard (or the "Astra Militarum" if you want something copyrightable).

Really though, most servitors are vat-grown meat that was never an actual person, and corpse-starch is mostly a Hive thing due to grotesque population densities.

Generally speaking, the idea that the Imperium of all things holds to a standard of "not wasting resources" is kind of bordering on the absurd.

No offense intended of course, this is just a general observation.

I feel a possible 'imperial' meme is 'no wasting resources' (ie a corpse rots). Also unlocking either servitors and/or corpse starch to utilise them.

The problem being is that the structures of the mod show up well below the other structures on the base game, so it can be easily missed without searching for it.
UltraEarth, scroll down the structure list and that's where you'll find the structure to be able to use the roles.

If you have a base with Militarum, Astartes and Mechanicus, and all of them have bigotry you would have negative mood against each other, but if you had the precept to Righteous the bigotry wouldn't apply to this ideoligions, so you can tolerate ideoligions with the same structure (Imperium of man, for example)

If you want to make a imperial cult that is hostile to all other imperial cults just use the fundamentalist + Intense bigotry, then the game would be played as default.

Would be nice to incorporate in this mod or even make a standalone mod with precepts under a "ecummenic"meme.

The precept could be divided in to 3 distinct stances (Maybe even having a meme being necessary to unlock it:
Fundamentalist - Default System
Righteous - All "Different Ideoligion" mood debuff are ignore if sharing the same structure
Pluralist - All "Different Ideoligion" mood debuff are ignored if shares the same strutcure or memes (except Supremacy, Raid, Sadist and Loyalty and Fundamentalits or Righteous without the same structure)

Is it a mod setting that says that a Champion and Chaplain are required with just 2 followers of the faith? I didn't modify the starting characters to have super stats, and needing a Champion and Chaplain with just 2 settlers, with high ratings (social 10+, shooting or melee 12+) is rather crippling. If it's intended to have strong starting characters, then that's fine. Just looking for clarity for expectations sake.

Pardon me, what classifies a pawn as a space marine? If I were to make a custom xenotype with some or all of the genes added by your other mod, does that qualify as a space marine?
