In general, the rockets in the game must be either guided or very cheap, otherwise there is no point in them in comparison with projectiles.
I've cracked open the vanilla+ files to try and understand how to make mods using it myself but couldn't figure out what was actually necessary to make mods with it.
Basically trying to make space versions of some World War 2 ships, but with no official Torpedo Launchers being available in game I didn't wanna have to use the large rocket launchers due to their close range yet rapid firepower.
Even if these things are slower firing, just the idea of them having longer range and high damage potential feels very appropriate.
I will of course upload unlisted, credit you for the models and link back to the original mods as the source if you agree to let me use them.

Feel free to adjust the values for your own play using something like ModAdjusterV2, though.

I'm not going to lie, i'm sick of Weaponcore, they don't support vanilla modifications to the guns/additions to the modlist... they only support Weaponcore Mods.
And if vanilla turrets are used, their automatically disabled now, due to weaponcore doesn't care.
Which breaks certain npc ships spawning in
I will always support guns that don't support weaponcore or don't use it... and custom 3D Model designs for new weapons.
A thought that's crossed my mind: Is there potential for a non-turreted block version of something like these? Such a thing would help fulfill a longtime dream of recreating Homeworld-esque missile cruisers/torpedo frigates.
